Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Bell and Dorje Set

Wow! This was a pleasant surprise! For the cost I was expecting some issues, but darn, this bell has a wonderful sound, it is sturdy and looks beautiful! The Dorje is pretty good quality too... Very happy with this set!

Pardon the ramble but I don't understand the people criticizing the way these products were made. Having owned many genuine Tibetan items, the roughness and imperfections is normal for this type of craftsmanship. The bell and dorje have purposes beyond "looking pretty" and if that's the only goal you have for them, you should look at something else as they're quite rough. What is important about these items is not how they look but how they work, and after meditating with them and performing several ganapujas, I'd say they're quite good. The material feels solid and heavy in the hand, not flimsy or brittle at all. The golden coat is actually far shinier than expected. The bell is small, good for traveling, and has a very clean and crisp sound that reverberates quite beautifully despite the small size.

Basic vajra/dorge & bell set. Bell has good clear ringing sound. Most reasonable price on similar quality product I could find. Vajra was size as expected. Satisfied with purchase & would buy from this seller again. If you are a Vajrayana practitioner on a restricted budget...this product will suffice. Seller also has other products related to this.

Great quality and sound

If you look closely at the ad photo you can see that these items are not in the visually "fine" category. They have a very basic "rough" and stark look The edges are not rounded and "finished." But the bell has a really great sound and there is a lot of energy in both dorjies! So, for this low price, I really like them. Just know that what you see in the pic is what you get. Don't expect them to be museum quality.

I felt compelled to write a review. The bell sound may be familiar to some who listen to "spa music". It has a lower sound, peaceful sound that is easily heard from a distance. The sound is plenty loud, so no worries there. I originally bought this for a sick bell so that I could come to that particular family member without having them shout they needed help. It also doubles as a dinner bell to call my kid's whos rooms are upstairs. No more having to shout "time for dinner" up the staircase. We simply ring the bell, which they say can be heard no problem. Don't hesitate to buy. As a bonus, it came with 2 handles that screw on the base. So far have not had to switch out the handles.

I just walked through the house addressing all four corners of the rooms as I rang my new bell. What a beautiful sound and each room is filled with sparkling energy. A great addition to clearing and cleansing your home of any stale or negative energy. Such vibrancy! I love it!

I use this wonderful bell/chime in my Montessori classroom. It has a clapper as a bell and the wand to create a controlled tone. It’s beautiful, sounds soothing and appears to be very well crafted.

I love my bell however the part that came with it, that looks like it should screw on the top, does not have a opening. I am not sure what I am to do with it. If you can clarify, that would be great. I cannot share a photo because I work on a ship and that is where I am at the moment
