This press works so great! It's heavy and sturdy, really great quality. The bottom of the press has texture so things do not stick to it and it works! I love this press and highly recommend. Some said in comments it rusts but remember it's cast iron so after washing dry immediately and fully and store in a dry place. You can also wipe it down with a very thin layer of vegetable shortening after washing and thoroughly drying to avoid rust.

GREAT for bacon making, hash browns, etc. Real weight. Simple design. I'm very happy I got this tool.

Excellent quality and very heavy to keep food pressed down.

Fits perfect for my cast iron, and my stainless steel pans. They haven’t rusted and I make sure to keep them dry and clean I use them to get a flat sear in my steaks and to prevent my bacon from curling so it works for that and smash burgers.

Heat distribution is good and has a good weight to it. Solid product for some smash burgers and more. Aside from the packaging not suitable to Amazon’s standard, overall good product.

Heavy Duty - Great Quality. When I smash, I want flat burgers, not something with a design. These are flat bottomed, heavy duty, and great quality. Can't go wrong.

These were great quality, only point i would make is that there was a grid pattern on the surface and I was looking for a flat surface (personal preference)

I have been asked to edit my review, people must have very low standards. I guess their feelings got hurt. Not sure how people are giving this 5 start review not heavy weight at all the lodge is much heavier does a better job.
