Great for 2nd Graders
I teach 2nd grade and this book was a great accompaniment to our mythology unit.

Short stories and quick read
It is an easy to read book with the kids. Its has a great illustration and my 8 yo likes the stories. I like how they adupted and changed some gore and cruel events from the original stories.

Outstanding Greek mythology book!
I bought this book for an 8 year old boy and started reading it before wrapping it up. I loved it so much, I ordered another one for myself! It is unlike any other tradition books on Greek mythology. It has all kinds of interesting facts where the myths took place. For example it tells where Aphrodite was born and tells her birth place as Pathos, Cyprus where she rose from the sea. You can actually visit the sanctuary of Aphrodite. The drawings through out the book are charming and colorful. Along with the myths are little tria facts that add a lot of interest to the readers. Really a wonderful book for children AND adults who will also enjoy this fresh version of Greek mythology. I high recommend this book!

Nice layout, good introduction for children
Nice book for children as an introduction to mythology. Can be a little scary, not super thorough descriptions, and missing some folkloric characters. Nice illustrations and layout.

Brilliant book
My granddaughter loved it. She literally started reading it as soon as I gave it to her. Great design. Colourful drawings and written in such a lovely and engaging way. Good job!

Great Intro To Greek Mythology For Kids
Excellent Book! Full of great stories. This was easy to read with my 8 year old twins and then they both read it on their own and loved it. Could easily be reread many times.

Highly Recommended
A fantastic book for kids. I bought it for my almost 9 year old daughter who developed a sudden interest in Greek mythology. The names are written phonetically and the illustrations are lovely. Stories are short, to the point and engaging. She was enthralled reading it.

Excellent book for kids. Lots of stories too and good variety.
I've been getting my six year old niece into Greek Mythology. It all started with Disney's Hercules and then I started telling her about real Greek Mythology. She started getting interested and I wanted a book with a good variety of stories and lots of stories as well. This book has been fantastic and nearly every night she's been asking for a Greek Mythology story before bed. An excellent purchase and one I'm sure we'll be re-reading.
