Perfect fir on my ally, no heating issues and fits the new drive easily. Speed tests I did not notice any significant change in drive speed. Super easy to install with a snug fit.

Cheap and works. Slot was a little tight and overall dimensions slightly short of 2242 but screwed down fine. Only warning is that B+M key will lock you to 2 lanes max PCIe which might cut drive speeds - if you're using an NVME drive and know your port supports more, look for something with only M key.

Great for rog ally

Good product and works as advertised. I used it on my Rog Ally to upgrade it with a 2tb m.2 card (I bough another adapter as spare too). Unfortunately the delivery for this specific adapter was delayed but upon speaking with amazon I received a refund straight away. A few days the adapter arrived and I chose to pay the price to keep it as I was happy with the product.

Does not work at all

Worked perfectly in my rog ally with a 4tb nvme ssd. Cannot fault.

This converter is jist what my ROG Ally needed to get a proper NVME drive installed. It was super easy to install a new, normal size NVME with this and the cloud recovery function installed the system back like when it came out from the factory. LOL, now I don't need to stress myself on the silly SD card reader issue.

Works, and saves me from turning my mini-itx upside down (and removing components) to unplug the ssd from the underside of the board! Downside: the cable is a bit too thick for the space beneath my motherboard which means i've had to loosen /remove the standoff screws. z170i-pro gaming in bitfenix prodigy mini-itx (original)

Worked Perfectly, installation was easy, increased my storage capacity by adding a second 512GB drive, very good value for money spent, speed of drive is very good when tested with CrystalDiskMark - I found the speed to be within manufacturer's specifications. I installed the 512GB m.2 drive in my 2in1 7390 Dell Latitude's PCIe WWAN port. So the 128GB to 256GB limit is NOT true. I will be testing a 1TB drive soon enough and will report back. For now I partitioned my primary 1TB SK Hynix Gold m.2 into two partitions and copied the system installation to the spare drive as a permanent backup and can use VM for almost perfect security. I am very happy with this purchase and will come back with the make and model of the secondary drive I used for anyone wanting that information.

Ho preso questo adattatore per usare un SSD NMVe SN530 su un Lenovo T480, l' adattatore funziona perfettamente, ho installato MacOS su quel disco e non da il minimo problema.
