When I took it out of the box, some of the leaves were yellow. I pulled them off, as per the directions. Within a few days, almost ALL the leaves were yellow and falling off. I put it on the patio, where it can get sun, and am hoping it can turn around. UPDATE: It's been a few days since my review, and my Money Tree is on the mend! It has a bunch of new leaves sprouting all over it, it's growing, and looks a lot stronger. I'm changing my rating to 5.

I purchased this plant a little over three months ago. It arrived a day early and as a result sat in 100 degree weather for 9 hours before I could bring it in. This is not the sellers fault but unfortunately as a result of the heat it appeared to be nearly dead. Within a week all the yellowed leaves feel off and by the next week even the green ones were gone. I called Costa Farms who gave me some recommendations on how to bring it back to life. They also have directions on how to request a refund from Amazon. Amazon was terrible to work with on that front and even with the directions from the seller refused to send a replacement. It all turned out okay though because three months later it is alive and thriving! Please do not let all of these negative reviews bring you down. I would suspect if people followed the steps most of them would have similar results. Update 12/15/2025- I've had this plant a little over a year now. It continues to thrive! I have added an update photo of it decorated as our "Christmas Tree"

I bought four beautiful large trees from Costa Farms. My fourth one arrived today August 1 2025. I am icluding this review next to the one July 22nd becausd thd system does not recognize I bought another one and I have no more words to describe its beauty. I will call the Farm and express again the joy I feel from their tender loving arms to mine. I.am so pleased with this tree from the Costa farms. I ordered two before in the winter, they were beautiful but this one that just arrived yesterday it knocked me to the floor. So so beautiful, flowy, new growth soectacular, a tree that is more than alive, magnificent so pretty and so me. So alive, looking good, Ok I am so happy I cannot take my eyes off this beauty. I am excited. I want to call the farms and ask them can they duplicate this doll baby of life in all its own glory. I absolutely love this and no disappointment. I want another one . My plant came and when I opened the box was a little nervous. The plant was in great shape. I left it in the pot for about a week before transfering it to a self watering pot. I have had it for over 30 days and it has been thriving so far. It has been a great addition to our living room.

The one on the right is the one I received today nicely braided bought it for my wife for mother's day, the one on the left is a stunted one I bought from a grocery store 3 years ago that was improperly cut, but the one I got today is beautiful, the size is as promised, I had a few leaves fall and some sprucing up to do, it is very sturdy, the condition it came in was good but the box was so beat up to the point it was just tape holding tape together at the top 😂, but the plant survived well, the overall health is good, be careful opening it i suggest using a very sharp pocket knife and gently cutting away at the wrap or use scissors ✂️ I look forward to doing business in the future, let's see how long it lasts compared to my other, I'll update later!

I received a money tree previously from this company and it was a good buy. So later I thought I would get another to go with it. However, the second one was not as impressive and I believe it's about to die. The 1st pic is the second tree that appears to be on the way out. And the 2nd pic is the first tree I received and is thriving.

It died within a month

The plant arrived and I thought since it was snowing outside, it wasn’t delivered, but someone in my house did find it and brought it into the home and it is doing well and Amazon came through very successfully please men and women also thank Costa Farms for delivery and a plant looks wonderful.
