This was surprisingly very heavy duty and bigger than I thought. This really works. You have to watch one of the many utube videos out there on these to know how to use it right. Only light 1/3 of the lump wood briquette s and leave the other 2/3 to light on their own. Use less than you think, it's burns hot. Mine lasted exactly the 3 hours needed to smoke the best ribs and I even added chicken at the end. Everyone at the party wants to order one.

I absolutely love grilling and when I heard about all of these fancy charcoal baskets, I immediately went online to buy one for myself. I found that the competition costed way too much when compared to this Charkettle by Skyflame Stainless Steel. The water reservoir only adds to the value on this product as I can ensure that my meat is perfectly cooked through and doesn't dry out while grilling for long periods of time. My only complaint with this is that it doesn't fit totally comfortably into my weber kettle grill as it feels like it's slightly too large for it. Other than that, I love this product and will keep using it for years to come!

The product does not appear to be genuine stainless steel, given the rapid deterioration of the material. I have only used this basket a few times to smoke brisket, and after just over a year of occasional use, the damage is evident. I contacted customer service expecting accountability, but instead they rigidly dismissed the issue and offered no resolution other than trying to sell me a replacement. This reflects poor material quality and even poorer customer support. Buyer beware.

For the most part this product is perfect. I went with this option because yes it is a little cheaper than some others. Being able to just throw in my wood chunks and know I have a hot side and a cool side makes things so much easier and convenient than moving it all around. The water chamber on the outside is great for smoking meats, very very good idea. The only downside and the 1 star deduction is the size. I know it tells you, however for a standard 22 inch grill it is a tad small, it doesn't completely take up half of the grill. It should and that is where its' downfall is. So far it has been fine as far as wear and tear. Not rusting out on me or anything of the sort.

Poor quality construction. Developed hole in water compartment after used 6 times. Spend more and get the SnS brand. A LOT better quality construction
