Works as advised

I love Nakamichi but these wall mounts should've been included with the surround speakers. These are so light weight it wouldn't have affected the overall shipping weight of the 11.4.6 surround system. I purchased these and then the Dragon rear surround Speakers Stands at 400 a pair. The stands are way over priced but i bought them just to have them in case i need them in the future. The stands are one thing , but wall mounts should've been included.

The wall mounts are great. The screws and drywall anchors are an absolute joke for the price paid. Do not use them the anchors will mess up your drywall. Go to a hardware store and get some quality drywall anchors. The screws are made of paper mache. Did this with the drill set to 3.

These speaker mounts are absolutely not up to the quality of the Dragon soundsystem, and it has degraded my impression of Nakamichi that they are selling these and advertising them as ideal for the Dragon surround speakers. I have the Dragon speaker stands, which are expensive, but astonishing quality. However, I moved recently and my new space works better with the surround sounds mounted on the wall. I got these because I also mounted my Dragon soundbar, and had no issues. First off, the screws included here are unusable. Don't even bother trying to use them. They're outrageously cheap quality and will get stripped, leaving you in a lurch. So just don't use them. Use better screws. Second off, once I got the mounts installed and attached the speakers, I was shocked to see that the speakers aren't really fixed in place. They still move on the mounts, but not in a good way. Just super janky quality. Very disappointed in Nakamichi on this one.

The stands work as expected and should, in my opinion, be included with the system, period. They are well made and will withstand the weight of the speakers. That said, the included hardware (plastic dry wall anchors specifically) to secure them is light and will need to be upgraded.

Great price and perfect for my speakers

These came with the weakest screws for stud. The head popped right off. I had to use different screws because I destroyed 3 screws. The mounts should work. Now I’m thinking I’m not going to mount the Dragon soundbar on the wall as result of the weak screws.
