Night Hiking, Lightweight, Around Camp, Good Headlamp
This light is exactly what I wanted when I ordered. With an energizer lithium AA battery, the total weight came in at exactly 2 ounces. I am going to change out the headband to shock cord, bring it down the weight of the headband, assume 0.5 oz. The other popular 3 AA battery headlight with similar headband weighs around 4.5 to 5 oz with batteries and would give me a headache just being on my head for 45 minutes. No headache with this headlamp. I was concerned about light output using only a single battery, however, it worked wonderfully on a 60 mile hike through the Sierras in September, battery lasted 5 nights no problem, and the headlamp was plenty bright around camp on the low setting, used the high beam to hike up Whitney the first night from trail camp, again plenty bright on the trail solo. All around a great headlamp for the price, great weight, great light output. Very functional and didn't cost $50 - $100.

Lightweight and works well.
Definitely lighter than previous headlamps I have used, probably because it uses a single AA battery. The single battery will probably mean more battery changes, but that is a tradeoff I am comfortable with. Works well. Two main lighting modes, flood and spot. Each lighting mode has strobe and brightness options. I really like the flood mode for walking/jogging in the dark. It took me a while to figure out how to switch between the two modes. While the light is on you hold down the button (there is only one) until the mode switches. Momentary pushes (there is a tactile "click") rotates between brightness, strobe and off. It looks like the battery compartment should be water resistant as it has a gasket. It comes in a pretty cool case. I don't know what the clip is intended for. Overall, think this is a great light.

Better than expected
I like it, i like that it comes with a case and battery. Other reviews said the on/off button was hard to press but I didn't have an issue. It's actually pretty bright and i like the different modes (high, low or strobe).

Great product
Time will tell on how well these will hold up, but initial thoughts are I made the right buy with these. I was looking for a headlamp with multiple light outputs, used AA batteries and was compact and lightweight. I wanted a headlamp to use the same batteries as the flashlight I have in an EDC kit. Ended up buying (3) of these. They come in a very nice case and have a small D-ring included. I wish the case had a loop to attach the D-ring to, but it doesn't Other than that, the quality and fit to the lamp is really good. Would definitely buy again.

Small and mighty.
Feels like a quality product. Bright and lightweight. Fantastic carry case (though not lightweight). Had to purchase a different light for when I need red light, but use this headlamp most often.

Excellent real world light.
Revised 21NOV2020 Battery lasts approximately 2 hours. With no warning, headlamp completely shuts down. That's the real deal_breaker. I would still consider this as a backup light. Excellent task light, especially in flood mode. You don't need 3500 lumens to wire a receptacle. This headlamp produces ample light in a very large area right where you need it- in front of your face. I just bought a second unit for my wife. Operating off of a single AA battery makes carrying spares easy.

It provides very nice light and runs off a single included AA battery
This light is a pleasant surprise. It provides very nice light and runs off a single included AA battery. It stores in a nice plastic case. I use it for working around the house where additional light is needed and I need my hands free. Most recently, I was replacing some light switches and it was dark with the power turned off. This light provided a good working light right where I aimed it and was comfortable to wear.

on-off switch stops working after about 100 cycles
The concept behind this head-strap lamp is great. I especially like the single battery design. But the on-off switch is unreliable and begins to fail after about 100 cycles. Once has to keep clicking -- more and more โ until the thing kicks in and turns the light on or off.
