It does say dishwasher safe on them, however I always hand-wash them so that they don't get discoloured.

Can this set be used in a mircrowave please?

The packaging says "2 mins max microwave" but to be honest I wouldn't risk it. There's a rubber ring on the bottom of them for non slip that ide be wary microwaving.

Is the material Melamine?

Not sure. It feels very similar. Good quality set.

Lovely design, nice for a weaning set

Good quality for the price, and lovely design. We've always hand-washed these and the condition is still good after being used for a few years - bar a couple of scratches on the plate caused by using metal cutlery
