Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox, for Boys and Girls Ages 1-6 Years

It’s a good size for my baby. The color is eye catching. Easy to build. There was no missing parts. I love that it comes with a lid. My baby can stand on it and it’s seems really sturdy. Holds a good amount of dirt. I bought it on sale I would recommend.

Nice size sandbox for our toddler. 1 bag of sand filled it half full which is great for this age. Assembly was easy enough and the lid keeps everything looking clean.

Not as big as one purchased 25 years ago requiring less sand. Two 40 lbs. bags seen to do it. Must be assembled. Most important, the user play with it and enjoys it.

Very sad to see the quality of this product. Flimsy plastic and the multiple pieces, especially the top does not keep out the rain. Had to put some plastics fosm to keep out the rain. After receipt we did some research. Little Tiles was owned by Rubbermaid and sold to a big corporation. Thus diminishing the quality of the product. If I could have seen this coming I would have saved my kids sandbox. So sad to see that corporate America has cut back on kids toys too

Overall, this is a great sandbox. It holds up really well and fits about three bags of sand. Assembly was a little tricky, but manageable. It’s not very water-resistant—we had it out in the rain with the cover on, and some water still got in, so we ended up moving it under the porch. That said, it’s a solid, well-built product and perfect for outdoor play with a little extra care.

Bought this for our toddler grandchildren. Pretty easy to assemble and move around the yard. The material is durable enough to leave outside. The lid makes it easy to fill and close to keep out cats and what not. It took about 2 bags of sand to fill and I know the babies will love it!!

I give this three stars for being cheaper than the other options and having a lid, but it is a far cry from the solid turtle sandboxes we grew up with in the 80s. This comes in multiple pieces that do not snap together cleanly, meaning it is not water-tight. It will not be doubling as a little kiddie pool or keeping your sand totally dry. It’s also too small. Only one kid can really play in it at once unless everyone stays outside of it. Also the head pops off every time you open the lid. Overall a huge disappointment that works ok for a toddler who doesn’t remember the glory days of sandbox turtles.

Seems durable as all little tikes products...easy assembly.

Good size, hell difficult to put together, clips do not allign that well, screw holes some are good some just trun, average quality. I do not recommend this product personally for what it cost!! Very disappointed and will keep an eye on this as it will be in a creche and used alot!!! 4 on 10 mark!!
