Keeps my old basement dry
So I've got water intrusion in my 150+ year old basement and I don't have the money to do the proper waterproofing solution, but need to keep my basement dry until I do. I built a little catch basin for the water out off hydrolic cement, put this little pump in it, and got a much longer tube that runs all the way across the basement to the larger sump pump. I have it pump up the tube about 3 feet and that's enough drop on the other side to get the water to the pump about 30 feet away. This thing is a champ. Yeah, I had to put a tube off caulk on top to weigh it down because the little suction cup doesn't work on uneven concrete, but so what? My basement is dry now. If you're looking for a redneck solution, this is one that works. (Ps in pics had to expand my little catch basin when the water started landing outside it). It runs about every 3 minutes when it's actively raining and has held up well so far. I'll be ordering a backup!

Compact and reliable - automatic sensor works perfectly
This automatic sump pump has been a great investment for condensate removal. The compact size is perfect for tight spaces, and the water sensor automation means I don't have to worry about manually turning it on and off. It just works when water accumulates. The 5-foot lift capacity is adequate for my needs, and the 55 GPH flow rate handles the job efficiently. The pump is surprisingly quiet during operation - much quieter than I expected. The build quality seems solid and it feels well-constructed. The water sensor is reliable and responsive. As soon as water reaches the trigger level, the pump kicks on automatically and runs until the water is cleared. Installation was straightforward with the included fittings. The 115V/230V compatibility is convenient. I've been using it for condensate removal from my HVAC system, and it's been working flawlessly. The automatic operation gives me peace of mind that water won't accumulate. For anyone needing a reliable mini sump pump with automatic sensing, this is an excellent choice.

DON'T BUY! Two Have Failed After First Use
Same results as other reviewer almost verbatim. This pump died after less than three months of "use". I was using it to lower the level in my small fountain when it rained too much so it didn't overflow. The pump worked fine for the first rainfall but died within three uses (including tests.) Didn't make it to the second storm. Did not freeze so that was not an issue. Very disappointed because I liked the size. Update: Tried another pump because it really does fit well in the water feature and I hoped I just got a bad one originally. NOPE! Same results. Made it most of the way through a series of rainy days and failed. So, two pumps and each failed quickly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! No freezing or external reason for failure.

works well when installed properly, updated
I utilized in a dehumidifier to pump out the tank. I worked for a day and then the auto shut off failed. It pumped Ok, only had about a 12-14 inch lift requirement. However, not usable now. update: MSELTOS reached out to resolve the issue I had. Apparently the unit had vibrated enough to be touching the walls of the dehumidifier tank and was making the pump think it was still submerged and thus did not cut off. Seems to be OK now. They did recommend NOT using the check valve, its not needed, but I wasn't using it anyway. Pumps surprisingly well for a small device.

Excellent condensate pump. Great warranty & support from seller.
I bought four of these condensate pumps for my dehumidifiers in two beach condos. The humidity is very high at the beach. Mold at vent outlets and duct work is a major problem. The problem is solved by installing dehumidifiers on shelves in the bathrooms. Gravity drainage is another problem because it is slow resulting in bacteria growth, clogged tubing and water leak. These pumps run very quietly and efficiently. They are small and of the right footprint to fit inside all kinds of odd shaped water tanks. This condensate pump forcefully empty the water in the tank when water reaches a certain level. If anything goes wrong, the tank fills up and the float will turn off the dehumidifier. No leaks. I have to cut a small hole in the tank to accommodate tubing and electrical cord. When one of these pumps malfunctioned, I contacted the seller and he responded immediately and sent me a new replacement pump very quickly. This is excellent service and warranty for the product. I have other Amazon dealers that I cannot contact because their support websites and phone numbers are not real. The seller Mseltos should be commended for providing an excellent product and for standing behind their product. Thank you.

Works well, lasts a while
Bought this bad boy to pump out the water from the portable AC unit. Set the drain to a bucket or container large enough so the unit can be submerged, ran the drain tube from pump to window, and 16 months later it still works same as the day I bought it. It is way more than you will need for any sort of dehumidifier or AC unit. It would probably be more than enough for some fun water displays

Dead in Less than a Year
Edit: It didn't last a year. Dead as a doornail now. Look elsewhere. For the price it is now, there are other options and you'll get superior quality. This is not worth it. I had a drip/drip/drip leak on one piece of plumbing behind the washing machine. Yeah, I'll fix it...someday, but for now, a pail and this item keeps things under control. Follow the directions to prime the unit then plug it in and forget about it. Warning, you have to keep the unit under water so if you're looking to get rid of ALL the water, this isn't for you. I put enough water in the pail to keep the unit covered all the time and it takes care of the rest. A cheap, quiet solution.
