I don’t know how but this fixed my apply CarPlay. My CarPlay only works via USB.Not Bluetooth. When I got a new iPhone it stopped recognizing my phone. I tried everything, from deleting the old phone from the car to resetting the car to factory settings, but nothing worked. I brought this as a Hail Mary and it worked!

I was looking for a cable that would let me use CarPlay reliably. For 2 months this worked great, and then one day car play just would not work with this cable. Charging was never a problem, but car play started out great and then got worse and worse. I don't know if heat / cold while it is in the car has an effect? But I can't figure out why a cable will work for CarPlay for a while and then just stop working.
