Bought this for my cubot p7 android phone. Probably my fault but it will not work with phone. must only work on iphones ipads ect. so be carfull if buying for anything other that iphones.

Bought this to do modest recordings for righting experimental music. Obviously the quality is not great, but it is surprising good given that. If you have an old ipod you will need to use the apple voice recorder as the recommended apps are now not longer compatible with the older firmware. Also, in order to get this to work I had to pull a pile of pocket lint out of the bottom of the headphone jack using a tooth pick. The jack connection is a bit flimsy, sometimes I have to twist the microphone in order to get it to make contact. That said it serves its purpose, I am sure if you wanted to use a old ipod as a voice recorder that this would more than fulfil your needs.

This came promptly, is very neat, and works fine. However I shan't be using it much as it doesn't fit through the headphone socket opening in my acrylic case. Obviously this is not the fault of the product - rather of the case maker, or me not realising before buying it - but you might like to know this before purchasing. My case is a Gear4. I have cut it away at the back but don't want to do the same at the front as it would look bad and might break the seal. Now looking for a different style of mic.

I have just tried it out and it works very well indeed. What a bargain! At this price I will have several in different places (home, work, briefcase). the quality is sufficiently good that I will use this to record lectures at the university where I teach.

I bought this product and didn't realise you need to purchase an app to make it work. The delivery was quick, but I felt the postage was a little over priced for the size of the product and packaging. I can't use the device and it's sitting in its packaging in a drawer...Only buy if you can download the app or have an urge to buy another phone gadget for your i-phone....it's not really worth the money or time investment to see if it works!

Most people will be looking at this mic for skype on their iPod touch. It just about can do that. I found the call quality to be poor, it also takes up the headphone jack so you can't have a private conversation - everything's on speakerphone! This also occasionally leads to a bit of feedback. The design does not fit in with the iPod touch, it's a lot deeper so overhangs both front and back and feels very cheap in comparison. I'd recommend getting a headphone lead with built in mic, I used an official apple one but there are plenty of others available, the experience is much better than this mic.

On my iPod Classic 160GB, this interfaces well with the in-built Voice Memo facility -- just clip it into the earphone socket and, voila, your iPod is a dictaphone. It also comes with a symmetrical cover for the jack, converting the mic into what looks like a large pharmaceutical capsule! As with other similar products, this is not a hugely sensitive mic so if you are recording ambient conversations in an average living room, the playback volume will have to be 80-90% of max -- but I have found it sufficient to document family stories etc. Holding the device close to the mouth will obviously increase the signal hugely. Once the Memos are recorded, synching with iTunes automatically moves the files from the Memos to the music library as wav files. You will have to manually rename them from the date-stamped original. This is a cheap way to record conversations and I recommend it for that. But if you want something that is crisp and 'broadcastable', then look elsewhere.

Excellent delivery and good price - however the microphone appears to be a little underpowered - using with skype / ipod touch and people on the other end always say it's quiet - and I can't seem to up the gain control?? Das Mikro liefert sehr gute Aufnahmen für wenig Geld. Ist sogar im Vorteil gegenüber teueren weil nicht so empfindlich übersteuert daher auber auch nicht und nimmt sehr gut Sprache auf wofür ich das Micro verwende. Absolute Kaufemfehlung. Das Gehäuse ist natürlich um den Preis nicht hochwertig sondern aus Plastik aber gut verarbeitet!

Alla fine funziona sufficentemente, ma per la qualità costruttiva è veramente pessima, e il prezzo assolutamente fuori mercato per il prodotto che è. Io lo avevo preso per sostituire il microfono dello smartphone android che non funziona più bene, ma purtroppo per colpa di android non è il massimo, perché se infili un microfono nel jack cuffie, il microfono si funziona, ma il sistema lo vede come un auricolare e quindi non si sente l'audio del telefono

El dispositivo funciona bien, aunque debido a la separacion del conector con la voz, hay veces que no detecta el sonido. Yo lo utilizo en un mando de consola para que me recoga los comandos de voz y de momento no me puedo quejar.

Es ist schön klein und lässt sich prima transportieren. Bei Videoaufnahmen funktioniert es auch bestens, aber bei Streams via UStream oder bambuser gibt es ekelhafte Störgeräusche.
