The unit functions fine, easy to use controls, you can also use the app or the supplied remote control, the unit puts out a lot of heat, our garage heats up in 15 mins, you can turn off the voice prompts if you wish, easy to fill up with a screw action fuel cap, the supplied pipes are fine, the unit was fitted with Both pipes ( air intake and exhaust) both outside of the garage , some may leave the air intake inside the garage but this may cause condensation, so to ensure a clean air supply you need to fit the air intake outside,your choice, not noisy at all due to the micro pump being covered in absorbing rubber, you can also in the summer have cold air recirculation, this is handy in the summer months and no fuel is used, it simply brings in cold air from outside, The unit is on 4 house bricks, simple but safe and effective, one at each foot, this is sat on a sheet of aluminium, this is due to the hot exhaust pipe, testing the unit at different heat ranges and they have been no issues, very economical to use,a lot cheaper than an electric or infrared heater, one thing, ensure you place the heater in the area you want it the first time around, The unit was also tested using a car battery and functioned the same as used with the UK powerpack, the units power pack comes with UK plug for UK buyers.the plug also meets UK current standards. Please note, think carefully about buying a carbon monoxide detector if using in the garage,shed,or car, many may not think it is needed yet in my own opinion it needs to mandatory.

What a excellent little unit - all working well

First of all i want to praise Amazon as when this stopped working they resolved the issue instantly, full refund and different one ordered! This was an easy heater to set up on my narrowboat as had the exhaust fitting already in place from a previous one! After all rigged up and filled with diesel it fired up instantly and pairing with my phone was simple! Just downloaded the app on IOS and it just worked straight away. The app i feel lacks a lot of features you see on other apps of this type. The heater was economical to use, Very! and was extremely reliable! UNTIL It wasn't It just would not light anymore and each time giving me a different error code! So yes it was great for a week and worked really well until it wouldn't start anymore! What a shame!!

So my review.... Build quality 8/10 ‐-------- Easy of operation 8.5/10 < Instructions are utterly useless, Took a youtube video to work out the controller. --------- Ease of installation 7/10 < this is easy if you are hands-on, if you're not hands on it could be problematic for you, more secure heat resistant installation lagging..... will be needed too --------- Quality of parts 7/10 < Jubilee clips are complete rubbish, Chinese rubbish. --------- Noise from operation 6/10 < very noisy when operating at three-quarter power to maximum power very quiet we're operating at minimum power to a quarter power. --------- Bluetooth control 7/10 < Works well, However the range it utter rubbish, NOT 10 mtrs --------- Would I purchase this model again YES but definitely install properly with heat prevention..... Lagging.... Over All Score = 7.25%

Good little heater, bought to dry out downstairs of a house after plastering and it has managed to get 2 rooms to 18 degrees after a day of running. Used some soil pipe as a temporary duct to allow the rooms to be fed individually and it’s working well. As for the power output, nowhere near 8kw. This is a 5kw unit and the internal manufacturing sticker states 5kw. Fuel tank only holds 5 litres of diesel and not the quoted 6. 20 hours run time is optimistic, it’s more like 12 on a medium setting, if you run it any lower then the glow plug and flame gauze will clog and carbonise which will result in non-start and heavy smoking. If it’s run at maximum output then that isn’t a problem as it will run clean with zero smoke and very little carbon build up as the hotter it is the more efficient it works. The 240v-12v PSU is efficient for how large it is. Draws very little current and results in approximately 2p an hour to power it. The app is relatively easy to use instead of the remote control and interface panel, but won’t connect to your phone if over 2m away as the Bluetooth signal is t strong enough. If you are placing this outside to use for blowing air inside through a duct then ensure you point the exhaust in the opposite direction from the room air intake or there is a very real risk of carbon monoxide poisoning if the exhaust is drawn in to the area you are heating via the intake duct. A longer exhaust would be beneficial and safer to ensure this does not happen. Lastly, the noise output. It’s what you would expect from a fan drawn combustion heater and has a modest howl if you use the included silencer for both intake and exhaust. If you don’t connect the exhaust silencer then it’s loud enough to be noticeable with any nearby windows closed. Overall 4 stars due to the small niggles and misleading advert for heat output and fuel capacity.

Great little heater easy to set up and use

Fitted this to the shelf I built under my Bedford Bambi/Nipper. Bought a separate elbow and vent to take pipe directly up through the floor and out the side of a under seat locker. Had it running for hours and it worked perfectly! Only needed the one vent. Gave 18C on lowest level.. Bluetooth and app works fine. Ran the exhaust out under the floor facing backwards. Gave the unit its own 12v car battery. Also runs on 240v with adaptor when Electric Hook up. Going to extend the cable to bring the controller into cab. This Requires a cable to be made with Molex Micro fit 4 way Male & Female sockets (which the controller uses) and I found on ebay. All in all I’m very happy with this heater! Love the voice feedback!
