These are great. My cats ignored the previous fish shaped treats I got them. Both are brother and sister and are pushing 15 years old. They eat up the Choolips and I have noticed they are doing better in emptying their bladder and I'm hoping this will help their kidney health as the enter their senior years.

I came across this and saw that it had all these different choices, for a dog’s/cat’s heart, kidney, eyes, etc., etc.. I have a cat that keeps getting a gel like pinkish ooze that develops daily in one of his eyes. I have no idea why. I have cleansed it with the proper cat eye solution and put Terramycin ointment on it designed for Cats, but he just would Daily have the gel keep developing in his eye even though I keep applying Terramycin appointment and rinsing it with eye cleansing solution…… nothing was helping. So I decided to try out the CHOOLIP for eyes. He loves the taste. All my cats love the taste. I gave him 2/day because of his size, and HIS EYE IS FINALLY IMPROVING. 😊 I will not have to continue giving it to him because the eye has gotten much better. If need be, though I can order more. All I know, is that giving this to my cat has done wonders for his eye that would develop a pinkish gel like substance. I highly recommend this product. I will also be giving the HEART one to another cat who has a heart murmur and the KIDNEY one to my picky eater older cat who the vet says has kidney issues. I want to be sure they get the specific nutrients that they need to keep them healthy in a tasty treat that they will eat.

When cat has kidney disease you give them everything they can have. Low protein, super stinky so she can’t resist eating it. She needs all the calories she can get to keep her weight up. I splurged for her - the price is outrageous and they give you 49 instead of 50 ? Insult to injury on the price point.

Great treat for my senior cats. Able to hide flavorless powdered meds into it for one that needs it. Good way to add more hydration in treat form. Only wish there was a higher calorie option.

I have a senior cat with late stage kidney disease and I find these treats very good for her because they can be used as a treat or addition for hydration and nutrients that are beneficial for this condition. With that said, the price of these is pretty outrageous for a single bag of only 7 servings. I would buy a larger supply but I feel the cost is unreasonable. Otherwise, I do recommend these as a good quality option.

My beautiful 16yo cat has early stage renal issues. He had quit eating his normal food for about several days, but still ate a few treats, drank water & wanted to eat something palatable. I was desperate to get some nutrition in him & found Choolip vita stick on Amazon. It arrived very quickly & he LOVED it immediately. I began giving 4 sticks throughout the first few days. I believe this saved him by giving him nutrition he needed & stimulating his appetite. He began eating his food. I continue daily Choolip vitasticks 2x a day. Now 3 weeks since his vet appointment, & he's doing amazingly well! Hes a very healthy weight, eats a lot, drinks his water, loves his Choolip, plays with his toys, snuggles, purrs, grooms himself daily, uses his litterbox & is overall very healthy. My dog LOVES these. They are great for making medication easier to take (we break/crush/open the pill (if appropriate for the medication) and put a few small drops of this dotted around a plate, including a some with the medication mixed in or hiding underneath. She licks the plate clean, medicine and all, without a second thought. These are also great for use on lick-mats. Sometimes we'll put it on a lick mat and put the mat in the freezer for awhile, which keeps her occupied MUCH longer. If you're sensitive to smell (they contain fish - so it does have that familiar aroma), freezing it also dampens that aroma. So happy to find something that 1) actually lists phosphorus and sodium, 2) has levels appropriate for a pet with CKD, AND 3) that she's so excited for. When you have a pet with CKD, that's like seeing a unicorn...
