Great At-Home Therapy Setup
Overall, I think this red light therapy lamp has been a great addition. The process is pretty simple, and the stand is adjustable, which makes it pretty easy to place it anywhere you might need. The light is powerful, and the space it covers is pretty good, which makes it pretty easy to get the job done. I have been using this product, and I must say that my skin does look a little more refreshed. It's also pretty good for relaxing. The build of the product is pretty good.

Sit 6" away for firm and clear skin!!!
There’s real science behind red light therapy — and understanding it is key to getting the best results. ✨ Most people make one common mistake: If your goal is clearer, firmer skin, you’re probably sitting too far away from the device. Here’s why: This particular red light device delivers 122 mW/cm² at 6 inches (excellent for muscle recovery) and just 56 mW/cm² at 18 inches — which is within the therapeutic range for skin only if absorption conditions are ideal. But real-world absorption isn’t 100%. In fact, skin only absorbs about 10–40% of the red light, depending on wavelength, skin type, and angle of exposure. The darker your skin, the lower the absorption. 🔍 Let’s break it down: If you're sitting 18 inches away and only absorbing a fraction of that light, you're unlikely to reach the energy levels needed for visible skin rejuvenation. Especially with darker skin tones, the results will be minimal — if any. 📏 The sweet spot? About 6 inches. At this distance, the light intensity is strong enough to reach therapeutic levels. Plus, the device is powerful and well-built — with correct usage, it rivals the performance of luxury spa-grade models. ✅ How to Use It Effectively: A Quick Calculation Step 1: Energy Delivered (before absorption) Irradiance = 0.122 W/cm² Treatment time = 10 minutes (600 seconds) Energy delivered per cm² = 0.122 × 600 = 73.2 J/cm² Step 2: Realistically Absorbed Energy (15%) 73.2 × 0.15 = 10.98 J/cm² Step 3: Full Face Coverage (approx. 300 cm²) 10.98 × 300 = 3,294 Joules (or 3.29 kJ) 🔬 Summary of Results: Metric Value Energy Delivered (100%) 73.2 J/cm² Absorbed (Estimated 15%) ≈ 11 J/cm² Total Absorbed (Face) ≈ 3,294 J Absorption Rate Used 15% (typical for light skin, 630–660 nm) 💡 Therapeutic Range: 4–50 J/cm² absorbed This setup lands right in the ideal range — safe, effective, and capable of visible results. 122 mW/cm² at 6 inches, which is powerful and gives you flexibility. But your distance from the light drastically changes the results: Distance from Light — Estimated Irradiance — Time Needed for 6–10 J/cm² Absorbed (at 10% absorption) 6 inches 122 mW/cm² 8–14 minutes 9 inches ~80 mW/cm² 12–20 minutes 12 inches ~60 mW/cm² 16–28 minutes 18 inches ~30 mW/cm² 32–56 minutes 👆 These are estimates based on inverse square fall-off and 10% absorption. ✅ Best Practice for Skin Tightening: Sit 6–9 inches away from the device Use bare skin (no makeup; moisturizers are fine) Treat for 10–15 minutes per session at 6 inches Do this 3–5 times a week for the first 4–8 weeks, then maintain with 1–2 sessions weekly 💡 Tips: Closer = stronger dose = shorter sessions Avoid sitting too close (<3 inches) to prevent dryness or heat buildup Sitting too far (>12 inches) drastically reduces effectiveness unless you increase the time significantly Eye protection is optional for red light, but wear it if you’re sensitive 📌 Final Recommendation: Sit 6 inches from your light for 10–15 minutes per session to tighten skin effectively — this provides a strong, therapeutic dose without overexposure. I use the device on my face, neck, hands, upper arms, and legs.

Helps winding down and relieves muscle tension
I received the red light therapy lamp with in 48 hours of ordering. The set up was extremely simple. I was able to assemble the lamp in minutes with zero issues. I didn’t feel there is a weight distribution issue as some have mentioned. However I could see if the cord were not secured to run along the frame/pole stand and the remote where pulled I could see the lamp tipping. The lamp has varying intensity settings, the last being a strobe/blinking light. I don’t prefer the blinking but will research its effects and possibly embrace it. I have enjoyed the lamp so far. I purchased the light therapy cap first, hoping for hair growth stimulation. I found that I use the cap every day as part of my routine to unwind from the day before transition to evening activity. It really does help calm my system. I am now using the therapy lamp at night. I’ have ADHD and have a difficult time settling down. I am not great at just relaxing, like the energy bunny I will go until burn out. I have to shut all activity off one or two hours down and will myself to relax in order to fall asleep. I’m pleased that I’m having a similar experience with the lamp as I have the cap. I feel it has reduced the time required to mellow out. Currently I am learning to bend the light to focus on areas with muscle tension. I am hoping the lamp will deliver on what I have read red light therapy promises, for me specifically that is reducing cellulite, healing scar tissue from a breast reduction and c-sections, and of course reducing fine lines to prevent wrinkles. I read most recently that red light therapy increases production of serotonin and can serve as a feel good mental boosted. I am also having my teen sit under the lamp to help with acne issues. I feel like it has helped blemishes heal more quickly.

Not sure if this will be as affective as it should be. It’s not bright enough

Es buena, aunque un poco chica pero para una sola persona si es muy funcional. Se puede modificar lo fuerte que es la luz y el tiempo que uno lo quiere usar.

Its a good way to get IL, & the setup provided can be used to apply it to all parts of body. Bit costly due to the import value. Since, its a US appliance, using a 150w step down 220v to 110v voltage converter.

Doesn’t work this product is if no use that’s why they don’t take it back. I need a refund as it’s very expensive. I thought I would get some ease in my pains. But it’s just a stupid red light of no proper usefulness
