Works as needed
Easy install and works as it should. Wires seem a little thin, but everything hooked up fine. Might be a hard reach for 4 batteries, had to center it for 3. Battery 1 was taking a full charge first and draining first, leading to a lot of overcharging/discharging and low voltage lockout. Now, all 3 12 volt batteries charge and discharge evenly. It whistles a little, though.

Works very well. Helps keep them equal.

Works as described
Works really well. I have four 12 volt LiFEPro batteries hooked up in series to power my electric go kart, and one battery was getting drained fast. This unit totally eliminated that problem.

No indication of it working and outside wires too short
Seems to work! No visual indicator, but a voltmeter shows the batteries (4) are perfectly balanced. Wish it had an LED or 2 to indicate if it was on or actually working and if it's balancing up or down between any connectors. Note that the wires are a bit short for 4 batteries in a series, as the furthest connectors are just out of reach. Had to splice and add wires. I'm good with doing this , but not everyone would be. Ideal product would have 4 volt readers and an led showing direction of any balancing. But that's not fair to judge a product on what I wish it was. I knew what I was buying. Didn't ding them for this. Just a suggestion of something I would buy

Storage for off-grid solar
A MUST HAVE for batteries in series to maintain equal voltage distributed across each charging & discharging. This is the best unit I've used to date in multiple installations.

The Battery Balancer that Unbalances; Update, it now Balances!!!
I bought this when I bought with first 4 12.8v LiFePo4 batteries that I wired in series for 51.2v. These batteries were to be used with a solar inverter to power my house during outages. I read all the warnings about batteries in series becoming unbalanced over time thus affecting the longevity of the pack. I figured an active battery balancer would be perfect keep everything in line. After my research I settled on this brand. The reviews appeared good and the brand from what I understand was reputable. I charged all the batteries in parallel to 100% first, let them sit overnight then proceeded to connect them in series. The instructions say to install the leads from left to right and that's what I did. The next day, one battery is 200mv lower than the rest. The next day another battery is 60mv higher than the rest. This cycle went on for weeks. They never balanced. To make matters worse because it couldn't balance it never stop running draining my batteries very quickly. What's ironic is after I uninstalled it is when my batteries achieved balance. I've also used this on another set of LiFePo4 in series and had the same result. I'm just going to assume I got a defective product as I'm seeing reviews saying it works. Update It turns out the one I got was defective. Support reached out to me and we went through several troubleshooting steps. After determining that the unit was indeed defective they sent me a new one free of charge. Been testing the new one for several days now and it works flawlessly. Thanks LiTime, I will definitely recommend.

Good Fix of LiTime Batteries
Solar configuration is based on a 24v DC equipment, so had a pair of LiTime 12v 100A batteries in a battery strings. While the string maintained voltage consistent with other battery strings, the individual LiTime batter voltages just would not stay even. Tried proper full charges before connecting; tried giving some time for cells to settle down - all no luck. Purchased and installed this balancer on the LiTime string and no problems since - consistent voltage across both batteries over several months now.

Worth the money
Before batteries were off as much as 2v. Now they are within.1v of each other.

Amazing- works immediately
First off, what I like about this device is heavy and looks sturdy which gives me some confidence, but the most amazing thing is it works as I heard from others. I just set it to my 2 12V batteries connected in series and it leveled the voltages in both with 2-3 hours

Great balancer/still not a sealed box!
All 3 batteries have stayed pretty much the same since connection, works as it should! Update: ordered my second balance, the package arrived empty but Susan at Li Time was prompt to act and my second(third) arrived it will be hooked up to my second bank of batteries later today. The package was shipped in its own box for the third time with still no seal, anyone can easily take the unit out of the box during shipping and no one would know where it disappeared!!!

Strange electrical smell out of box, is that normal?
I have not sued it yet because it has a strong smell out of the box like burnt rubber or plastic. It could be normal and from manufacturing but seems a bit strong. Is that normal?
