Does the job fine
This was bought as a direct replacement for the identical make/model fitted to our alarm system - some clown had blathered it in emulsion paint which I was unable to clean off sufficiently for the thing to look halfway smart. It's just a plastic housing containing a small but hefty loudspeaker with plastic cone, (no electronics), so the sound it makes depends on what the alarm system feeds it. It is certainly very loud in our case, so much so that I've fitted a series resistor to quieten it down to a sensible level. It's simple and well made, easy to attach to the wall, and quite smart. Above all, it does the job fine.

Replacement for an old unit from same manufacturer
Same size, same impedance, wall mounting holes not the same 🙁. But overall a good unit and great price

A good basic internal sounder.
A good clear sounding, but most importantly loud, extension speaker / internal sounder. Easy to connect, and had plenty of internal wire length. Happy to use again for other installations.

Just the job
We just wanted a fresh and smaller unit than the one we had. The internal sounder we has also contained electronics so that it made a noise like a siren. This is simply loud repeated noise. Very disturbing to a burglar. Easy to fit and good to look at.

I did like or dislike the sound der and was not considered suitable for where intended And why was I charge for the return has I pay a monthly membership fee?
