Out of the dozens of flashlights I have collected over the years, this is one of my absolute favorites. It's my true EDC in every sense...I never leave without it in my pocket. It's blazingly bright, holds a great charge, and is quite versatile.

These Thrunite Saber lights were a good price for 2 LED flashlights. The included USB C rechargeable AA size 3.7 volt 14500 cell makes it very bright on the HIGH setting. Rated run times with 3.7 volt lithium cell are 19 Hours on LOW (57 lumens), 100+ Minutes on HIGH (659-275 lumens). Good instruction/specs sheet included. Any AA size cell works, Nimh or Alkaline which is great. Good quality firm switch, has 2 modes, click ON to LOW setting, click OFF and back ON to HIGH setting.

Powerful Little EDC Flashlight The ThruNite Saber is an excellent small EDC flashlight. At 600 lumens, it’s surprisingly bright for its size and very practical for everyday carry. I like that it runs on AA rechargeable batteries, making it easy to keep powered up anywhere. The clip is sturdy, and the build quality feels solid. Compact, reliable, and high-performing—great value for an EDC light.

I have lots of flashlights, lots. Here lately I’ve been leaning towards the single AA sized lights. The reason my power was out for a week. All my other lights being lithium ion batteries all needed to be charged by either a generator or my small solar system in my garage, The nice thing about these little lights is you can set the lithium ion battery to the side and pop in a AA battery and you are back in business. The light is not quite as bright but bright enough to see in the dark. The two way clip is also very handy to put on your hat and you have a headlamp. I have many Thrunite lights and have never had a problem with any of them. This Saber is a great light with a good balance between flood and throw. It also puts out enough light to walk outside at night and has all the light you’ll ever need inside a house in the dark. AA Batteries are available everywhere in the US as are rechargeable NIMH AAs. The ability to use different fuel in these lights might be a lifesaver Someday. Thanks Thrunite for making such a great light that checks all the boxes.
