I have used this model in our business for years. Very efficient and totally reliable.we have several of them . The newest version is exactly the same as our older ones. The older ones have lasted for over 30 + years and still going. Needed a couple new ones for our office and I am still using my old favorite older one myself at home. If you are looking for something that’s long lasting and really does the job. I suggest you try. One of these. We will never change as long as they keep making this model. Good luck

UPDATE - THERE IS NO SHORT IN THIS. The newer model powers down after about 7 minutes! You then need to push the CE/C button to turn it on again. This info was way down the page in the instructions and I did not see it. Old review. . .. But it must have a short in it because it will turn on but not stay on. I have one at my office and never had this happen. I have already ordered another one and will return this one. This is the reason for only four stars. Also, they included a little gray cap with a side ledge/hook. This does not show up in the instruction manual. I posted the question online and several told me it was to hold a pen. After looking at the machine closely, I found a small slot at the back of the machine that this connects into. I guess you can keep a pen in there. .. .

My 15 year old Canon calculator died. I was hesitant on getting a new calculator. After much research and reading reviews, I finally picked this calculator. I’m glad I did pick this one. I’m pleased and it’s similar to my old calculator with the exception of auto sleep feature when not in use.
