This kit genuinely comes with EVERYTHING you’ll need to crochet and more! First, the yarn is incredibly soft and packed with a lot of colors. Second, I love that the bag is separated making it easier to organize as well as the pouch that comes with for all of the equipment! Third, the instructions comes with nicely written ways to do stitches which is why is great for beginners, it comes with multiple tutorials for stitches and explains how to do them with pictures. The crochet hooks are very comfortable making it easier to hold without hurting your fingers. All of hooks and markers are durable and don’t break easily or bend like others. The yarn once again is SO SOFT and doesn’t fray. So this kit is actually great and worth it, for beginner or not!

Love! Functional and has everything you need to get started plus some. Everything that comes in the kit is good quality and beginner friendly. It’s a great size to where I can bring it with me places and it’s not in the way or creating unwanted attention. Extra room to keep unfinished projects. Only thing that would make it above and beyond is if it had compartments or something inside but you could also easily add that yourself. Kit exactly as it shows. So this kit is great for beginners. It has a great selection of hooks, 2mm-6mm. And they are comfortable to hold! It comes with needles, stitch markers sizing ruler, scissors. All bright colored too which I love. The bag is great quality with nice pouches for your items. The yarn is nice and soft with an array of colors to help start any project. The weight is Fine.

This crochet kit for beginners is ALMOST perfect. Pros: comes with everything you need to get started plus more. There are plenty of colorful yarn and hooks. There is a guide and everything is eaily protable and can be stored practically anywhere. Cons: this book did not help me learn to crochet beyond a basic chain. I waste a TON of yarn trying to practice stitches and complete one of the bags in the book. It never came out. I highly recommend you use an online tutorial instead. There were also places where the book was missing parts of sentences, so it was incomplete information. The yarn is also not the best quality yarn. It would often fray on me as I was crocheting. There are pieces in the kit that I have no clue what they are, or how to use them. The book does not give a list of the items you are given nor what they are used for. I will have to look them up online. While not perfect, this was just what I needed to get started on learning crochet on my own. If you're wondering what the holes on top are, the book doesn't tell you. But I did discover, you can keep the yarn inside the bag and the string can come out of the top hole while you crochet. This way the yarn doesn't roll all ove. It also helps keep it away from cats and kids lol. Overall, a good buy for the price I paid.

After reading some of the reviews on this item (how cheaply made it felt and how it smelled) I was 50/50 about how I would feel once I received it, but I took a chance anyway.. and I’m glad I did! I gave this a 5 star because the quality and quantity you get for $25 is amazing! Let’s face it 21 crochet hooks plus a ton of other accessories for the price point.. you can’t beat that anywhere! It arrived a day ahead of schedule which was awesome (I purchased it on Sunday afternoon and received it Monday afternoon, literally within 24 hours!) that was a plus. When it came it didn’t have any strong odor(s) as some of the reviews stated, another plus. I received every item I was supposed to receive and I actually received extra, BONUS! Everything looked brand new, didn’t look or seem used as another reviewer stated, which was awesome. Nice, good sturdy carrying case with a little room for growth for a few extra hooks, etc., just a little. Tape measure tape was a little bent when I unrolled to see how long it was, but no biggie, easy fix. Tape measure goes to 60 inches in length and is easily retractable with a push button and easy to use, doesn’t stick, locks in place while measuring for accuracy and ease of use which is awesome. The ergonomic hooks feel awesome and does what is advertised. Aluminum hooks feel of good quality, made to last. The scissors aren’t the best in the world but they aren’t the worst, they’re actually pretty decent, compact and gets the job done. Overall, I’d say this is pretty impressive considering each hook can run anywhere from $3 and up.. 3 X 21... you do the math! And that’s NOT including the needles, tape measure, ruler, scissors, row counters, ring markers, stitch markers.. so on and so on. I think this set is awesome to have for everyone, especially beginners. IF I HAD TO name one thing I didn’t like about this set, I would say the range in the sizes of the hooks (but truthfully I don’t have anything bad to say, I just did this to remain objective). Some of them were repeats, for example I received a 6.0mm hook on the aluminum side but also got a 6.0mm J hook on the ergonomic side as well. The range is 2.0mm to 8.0mm on aluminum side and 2.0mm to 6.0mm on ergonomic side. Not bad at all! Definitely would purchase this again, and probably very soon.. on my way to my mother’s house and I know once she sees it, it won’t be mine anymore lol!

Bought this for my wife as a beginner crochet set. The bag was great! Very sturdy, needles were solid too.

I really enjoyed this, but i’m highly allergic to acrylic and couldn’t use this yarn. But, the bag is so handy and holds everything together very well. And all the different size crochet hooks are really nice to have!

Mom is an avid crocheter! Cute little kit with all kinds of gadgets! Well.constructed and appears to be of good quality. The hooks look great! Will be perfect to throw in her craft bag for travel!!!

Product received when and how advised. Contents of this crochet kit is overwhelming, I was hoping to be able to add the crochet supplies I already have to the case I bought, but this is so jam-packed not only is there no room, but I don't need to carry my old supplies, this kit has everything!

Item description is misleading and inaccurate. The yarn balls are not cotton but 80% acrylic 20% other fibre. Giving 3 stars as Amazon arranged for a refund
