Petcube Interactive Wi-Fi Pet Camera

What a fantastic product. Arrived well packaged, in quick time, easy to set up and great instructions. My dog, Fizzie can be a little bit nervous during storms and bad weather and it's perfect for being able to check up on her. The camera quality is fantastic, with excellent panoramic vision so you can see your pet wherever they are in the room. It connected really smoothly with the phone app and you can even set it so that it even notifies us when she is making sudden movements. It would even double as a great security camera! The only function we haven't used very much is the laser function. You can use it to play with your pet and keep them occupied during the day while you are at work by making them chase the laser. It truly is a great idea, but getting a little older our dog wasn't really interested in this function, but she would have definitely loved it when she was a little younger. This really is a great product for getting to know your pet's behaviours a lot better than you ever could before. It's helped us with understanding what makes her nervous, what time day she tends to get restless and when she is and isn't bothered by us being out of the house. We feel like we are able to give her better care for purchasing this product. Highly recommended!

it was a gift but she loved it. think it a bit expensive and lacked functions and camera could be better but looks cool

Iv been using this pet cube for. a couple of weeks now for my dogs but also tried it out with a kitten belonging to a family member . It's very quick and easy to set up , download the pet cube app plug in the pet cube and your up and running . You simply leave it switched on on the table or worktop and the pet cube will kick in automatically or you can use your mobile or iPad to manually control the lazer yourself by simply moving the lazer around near to your pet in order to get them playing /chasing the lazer around the floor . The cube it's self is very neat allowing it to be left in the lounge if required and won't look unsightly The pet cube I have is a black gloss one . But please be very mindful if you are using the pet cube whilst your out of your home and not on wifi as this will quickly eat into your data allowance , so unless your on unlimited data you need to be careful about going over your data allowance . In my opinion this is perfect for cats rather than dogs as only one of my dogs attempted to have a play with the cube but lost interest within a couple of minutes , there is a small red laser dot that is emitted from the pet cube and moves around the floor catching about a foot high from the floor at times , my dog gave a few snatches for the lazer but that was it she quickly lost interest . A cat or kitten though would love this and in my opinion and would chase / play with it for hours as you can use your mobile to move the lazer beam yourself in different directions or have it set to automatic . The camera side is great as it allows you to interact and view what your cats or dogs are doing whilst your away from home , but this can be upsetting , as I found that my youngest dog paced the floor crying softly whilst I was out , as your hear every sound your pet makes , it send images back to your mobile in small video clips and notifies you each time . The pet cube is a really good invention but you need to be very mindful about what pet your buying it for and also the age of the pet and take all this into consideration as it can be a very expensive item if your much loved pet won't play / interact with it as you would be left with a sound and vision camera only being used whilst your away from your home for a coup,e of hours a day that sends you notifications direct to your mobile .

I don't normally write reviews but his product/service is abysmal! First thing, the power cable that came with my camera stopped working after one (1) day. I sent an email to their 'support' - after a whole week they came back suggesting that I 'turn it on and off'...! I eventually used a raspberry Pi charger that worked well. However the video was choppy, and our cats weren't impressed by the laser (they do get excited with other laser pointers). The cube kept trying to do a software update that never happened. Their support is non exsistant and takes a week to report with generic 'answer'. This is a stark contrast to a product like the ring video doorbell (that is kinda similar) where they respond immediately and actually resolve your issues. After a few weeks this sorry excuse for a product died - I returned this to Amazon. Before anyone doubt my wifi connection - the Petcube was literally 3 meters from the router and a TV nearby that uses the same connection - doesn't have any problems streaming HD videos... Ps Also the forced 'social features' are also extremly annoying and can't be turned off.

Great concept but the cube it's self it's quite poor. Video is low quality compared to other devices out there. Microphone and speakers are terrible, especially when used via the android app. The iOS version seems slightly better. The autoplay feature is pretty good but overall wouldn't recommend

We love this. It works straight out of the box and gives us an opportunity to see what our Mutt is up to during the day. The laser is a nice touch but not massively used by us as our dog seems totally uninterested in it. The sound quality is pretty good and more than adequate. Pros: Works straight out of the box, really well constructed, quality item. You can invite multiple people to see your live feed (one at a time though). Cons: A good internet connection is required but, will work on a decent 3G signal when you want to have a look at your pet. You need a well lit room for this to work at it's best. It's not great in low light conditions. Conclusion: Well worth it. Would recommend to anyone.

Die Kamera ist einfach super. Die App könnte verbessert werden, z.B. das "teilen" mit Freunde und Familie. Ich freue mich auf das Update mit Bewegungserkennung usw.

Super Sache sehr einfach zu installieren und hochwertig. Nur schade das nicht erwähnt wurde das der Netzstecker mit Englischem Anschluss geliefert wird. Somit nicht gleich Nutzbar. Die Katzen spielten dann aber gleich mit dem Laser der auch genug hell ist. Sobald es aber ein dunkelt erkennt man mit der Kamera kaum noch was, keine super Auflösung genügt aber.

Die Idee des Petcube an sich gefällt mir sehr gut, die Verarbeitungsqualität ist in Ordnung. Allerdings wird die Kamera mit einem englischen Netzteil geliefert. Auf Nachfrage per E-Mail keine Antwort. Ich musste mir demnach selbst einen deutschen Stecker kaufen.

naja was soll man sagen, wenn elementare Funktionen wie Bewegungs- oder Geräuscherkennung nicht funktionieren und erst durch irgendein Update zur Verfügung gestellt werden sollen, das es noch nicht gibt? Wer einen Alarm bekommen möchte, wenn z.B. der hund zu Hause nicht aufhört zu bellen - Fehlanzeige. Da nützen auch die schönen Versprechen auf der Homepage nichts. Mit alternativen Fakten wird man offensichtlich Präsident in den USA, Kunden gewinnt man damit sicher nicht

Das Petcube ist super, wenn man die Haustiere über den Tag beobachten möchte. Meine Katzen freuen sich, wenn der Laserpointer los geht. Der Laserpointer ist etwas langsam aber Spaß macht er trotzdem.
