Way too tiny and the shells all cracked. I have been making lupini for 50 years can't recall this issue ever.

Too laborious to cook with.
These must be used according to instructions, otherwise could be poisonous. Soak, change water, soak, change water for like 4 days!

The dried lupine beans are great value and quality. There is a process to soaking them and then boiling them and the curing process. It’s all worth it when you get a little taste of home 🇵🇹

Not willing to devote DAYS to cooking this bean
Here are the cooking directions from the back of the bag: "Soak in cold water overnight or 24 hrs. Remove soaking water, put in pot with fresh water. Bring to boil, remove foam. Boil 40 mins. Drain boiled beans, transfer to bowl and add fresh water. KEEP CHANGING WATER EVERY DAY FOR 4-5 DAYS TO GET RID OF BITTER TASTE. Bite into one, if it is bitter, it is not ready!" Personally, I am not willing to devote the better part of a week to making this bean edible.
