I have a 20 year old work van with a sliding side door. For 12 years I have dealt with the wheels dragging and have used several lubricants that worked fantastic for a few days to one week. This super lube lasted for an entire month before it started to drag again. The same door had a locking mechanism that holds the door fully open and was locked in place for three years and was unable to free it up with any other product. I gave it a spray with super lube and used a steel rod to move it back-and-forth a few times and it completely freed up and has been working perfectly for a month and a half without the need for another treatment. I have tried prolong super lubricant, clear silicone, and turbine oil… But super lube out performs them buy a lot. One interesting thing about super lube, it has a slightly thick consistency. It has become my go to lubricant.

If all you need to do is loosen something up, then the various penetrants are all pretty much suitable. But while those might free up a mechanism temporarily, they often dry out to next to nothing, or even leave a gummy, sticky residue that might make things worse. Super Lube 31110 is a real lightweight oil that will leave a thin but slick film behind, which has worked well for me with door locks and many other things. Using the right lubricant for the job is important, and there are things for which this isn't the best choice either (like greasing the threads on the shaft of a gear puller), but where a lightweight film of oil is needed, this is my go-to spray.

I have been a bicycle enthusiast all my adult life. I depend on them for maintaining my stamina and general health. One area that has always been a pain in bicycle maintenance is lubrication, especially the drive chain. Everything I have ever used to lubricate the chain and its matching sprockets either doesn't last long or leaves a dirt collecting film that eventually wears the components out if it is not often cleaned and reapplied. There are many 'professional' lubricants sold for this application but they all have drawbacks. Enter SuperLub with PTFE. After thoroughly cleaning off all the old lube (and dirt) from my chains drive and shifting components, sprayed this stuff on the chain and it's sprockets and shifting mechanisms and let it dry (doesn't take long). The difference was immediately noticeable. This dramatically lowered the required pedaling effort and added noticeable smoothness to the shifting process. After drying, the lubricant is completely transparent and leaves no film that you can detect. This is wonderful stuff and I highly recommend it for almost any modern lubrication needs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works well, and I like it. But good lord, I paid under $7.00 in 2020. And now it's $18+??? Is it going to be $40 in the near future? Price seems unreasonably high, even despite all the inflationary pressures.

I like this product a lot. I mainly use it for the sliding glass window rollers. I've tried some others, but this doesn't attract a lot of dirt and dust to the rollers, or tracks. It's rated for food grade stuff too. I would recommend Super Lube, and would buy it again.

Over the years I've tried several different brands of lubricant sprays that are designed for general multi-purpose use (DuPont, CRC, WD-40, Permatex) and I can say this Super Lube Multi-Purpose is the best one I've used so far. It's fully-synthetic so it lasts longer and attracts less dirt when compared to traditional petroleum-based lubricants. It will greatly reduce friction on most surfaces and materials thanks to its PTFE content which is one the most slippery substances on the planet. It exhibits very low toxicity as it's rated to be safe for incidental food contact, and it has a very low odor which is important if you're using it in confined spaces with little airflow. And it's dielectric so it can be used to seal and protect electrical wiring, connections and contacts. Overall as a multi-purpose lubricant spray this is an excellent product.

If you are using this for lubing your keyboard switches, BE CAREFUL. That being said if you are careful it will turn out perfectly, so don’t listen to all the keyboard enthusiasts who are butt hurt about newbies wanting to spray lube their cheap gateron switches without spending 3-5 tedious hours lubing each individual part of the switch. After lubing the switches, you MUST wait 1-3 days for them to dry before using them. The process can get messy, so clean the switches with an alcohol wipe after and leave to dry. The lubing process including taking the switches off of my hot swap pcb took about 30 minutes. However I let them dry for 1 day and it wasn’t enough, some of the switches didn’t work. So i took them out and put them in front of a fan for another 24 hours and then they all worked perfectly. I lubed my gateron reds and it made them sound super clean. This is for the people who are lazy and don’t want to lube traditionally. Just make sure to wear a protective mask and let them dry after.

ちょうど自転車のBB軸くらいの大きさで、分解不可能な部位のボールベアリングに使用。 （ネットでみつけた英文和訳らしい用途表でも密閉ベアリングが対象に含まれていました） 針径0.5mmのインジェクター（注射器）に溜め、ベアリング両側のシールドの隙間から針を入れてそのままチュルチュルと注入できました。 後で固まるのかもしれませんが、作業時点では適度にユルくて扱いやすいです。 施工前にはかなりゴリゴリ感があったのが軽減しました。本当は分解してキッチリやりたいのですが…

als die Lieferung ankam, sah ich die bestellte Ware mit eine kleine Tube davon, was mich positiv überrascht hat. Aber als ich bemerkt habe, dass das Sprührohr fehlt, hab ich das Serviceteam kontaktiert und die haben sofort geantwortet und haben ein kleines Extra dazugeboten. Werde definitiv wieder bei denen kaufen, sobald meine Dose leer wird. :)
