It’s very easy to set up and connect to the app, and you can enable critical alerts, which is especially helpful if you’re away from home or hard of hearing, as you’ll receive notifications straight to your phone if smoke or carbon monoxide is detected. The size is ideal for standard home use, and the unit feels sturdy, well built, and reliable. A great feature is the built in screen, which displays the PPM (parts per million) level of carbon monoxide in the air, giving you extra reassurance and real time information. The alarm itself is loud without being excessive. I can clearly hear it from another floor of the house, even with doors closed. Overall, the X-Sense smoke alarm is a fantastic addition to a smart home and a great investment for anyone who prioritises safety and modern features.

I put these up a few months ago and the peace of mind they offer is fantastic. Setting them up with the app was very straightforward, and it is incredibly reassuring to know I will get a notification on my phone if an alarm goes off while I am out of the house. Having both smoke and carbon monoxide detection in one unit saves having plastic boxes plastered all over the ceiling. They look quite smart and modern too. I was hoping it would fit in the mount of my old smoke detector but no worries. It's loud.

Really impressed easy to install app was also easy to put on phone.There is a charge on app to give you alerts on phone if the unit goes off.I didn’t think it was too bad about £19.99 for year small price for peace of mind.

Easy to install and good value for money. However, in my opinion, the app is very limited for example you cannot test the alarms on the app. Also no integration with Alexa which I use as a home hub. Updated after 2 years use. I have 2 units and have doubts that these actually detect smoke after burning toast. Howeve when the batteries start running out there is no warning as standard cheaper models do by grabbing your attention with an intermittent beep. The first unit battery failed about 2 weeks ago with a constant alarm and the LED display was blank. After replacing the battery the device came back to life. The second unit battery ran out this morning around 6am and in a panic I thought the house was on fire, which thankfully it wasn’t. It was indeed a weak battery. I would not recommend these devices, the app is useless, I have no confidence that they will detect a fire or CO problem and have therefore reduced my score from 3 stars to 1.

Easy to install and look good on the ceiling. App use is easy to set up and loud enough to hear when going off. 4 stars as 1 went off a couple of times but couldn’t find out why. Worked fine since and not had my house burn down

Brought to replace expired nest protect devices. Google detectors are so expensive that I wanted to move away to something else. These are a good price and I can expand into the ecosystem. Connectivity to app works well.

He ganado en tranquilidad, es un producto barato para asegurarnos riesgos innecesarios. Me decidí a comprarlos después de ver una triste noticia en televisión y la verdad, se ven de muy buena calidad, aunque las instrucciones vienen en inglés, con la app se emparejan muy rápido. Compre uno para el salón, otro para el pasillo y uno específico para la cabecera de la cama exclusivo para el monóxido de carbono. Están todos sincronizados de forma que si pita uno, los demás también lo hacen. Es imposible no enterarse, puse a mi mujer como invitada a la app y ella los tiene al igual que yo en su teléfono. Si por mala fortuna estuviéramos fuera de la casa y hubiera algún problema en el domicilio, la app te mandaría notificación con la info incluso de la zona donde se ha producido la incidencia. Creo que es una de las mejores compras que he hecho y todo eso por menos de 100 €, además estuve viendo otros y no me convencieron. Soy de los que no compro al azar y me puedo llevar un par de días recopilando informacion sobre la compra

Ho acquistato questo rilevatore principalmente per la sua compatibilità con Home Assistant e posso confermare che l'integrazione tramite Zigbee2MQTT è stata immediata e senza alcuna difficoltà. Il dispositivo è stato riconosciuto subito e ora posso monitorarlo direttamente dalla mia smart home senza bisogno di app proprietarie o servizi cloud. L'installazione è molto semplice: basta fissarlo nella posizione desiderata e associarlo alla rete Zigbee. I materiali, pur non essendo di fascia alta, sembrano comunque robusti e adeguati al prezzo. Il design è compatto e discreto, quindi si adatta bene a qualsiasi ambiente senza risultare ingombrante. Uno degli aspetti più positivi è la potenza dell'allarme, che emette un suono davvero forte e ben udibile, garantendo una segnalazione chiara in caso di pericolo. Per quanto riguarda la rilevazione di fumo e monossido di carbonio, non ho avuto modo di testarla direttamente, quindi su questo punto non posso esprimermi con certezza. Anche la durata della batteria è un aspetto che dovrò valutare nel tempo, ma il dispositivo promette una buona autonomia. In definitiva, trovo che sia un prodotto affidabile e dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, perfetto per chi vuole integrare un rilevatore smart nella propria casa senza complicazioni.
