Used for “extending” outdoor under eave holiday lights. The included gaskets seal well around round three conductor 20ga. round wire, and grip three conductor 22ga. flat wire, but require some putty/caulk to weatherproof. The triple lever “Wago” style connectors grip the wire securely and are a big help when standing 20’ in the air. Overall, they simplified installation over traditional junction boxes and are performing well. Overall length is ~ 3 7/8” x 1” diameter. It’s possible, because of their gaskets, that these could be used for burial, but that’s not how I used them.

Excellent product worked extremely well for connections for lights on driveway columns

The units are reasonably well made, a little tubby but they also accept three wires. The connector switches that allow you to open and insert the wire, and close to secure the connection seem to work well. I don't have any history on water tightness, although my experience over the years says they will work well. One caution, these are made for a circular jacket cable, not a twin pair like a speaker wire or low voltage lighting wire. They will work with a twin style wire, but not fully seal upon it, which means not waterproof for that wire.

They work great with a heavy exterior 12 ga extension cord cover and the thicker inside coated wire. I literally just repaired a 100' 12 ga outside extension cord faster than ever before. The ease to do it with the inside levers was terrific. Others I checked only went to 14 ga and were different how they hooked up inside. No heat shrinking hassles. They only included the inside gaskets for a heavy 12 cord. Smaller cords will be loose and you might not be happy. You could just wrap some tape around a smaller cord for it to work.

Used to shorten Hue outdoor low voltage cables. Works great.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A waterproof electrical connector that can be easily disconnected for winter storage.
