Does anyone know exactly what type of memory foam these incline pillows are made of?

Not sure but it's made with top notch materials. Feels soft to touch and also supportive. U will not sink in like other memory foam pillows. Love my pillows.

Does each of the 6 wedge pillows have a removable zippered cover for washing?

Yes, each pillow comes with very comfortable covers that are removable and washable. The pillows also have non slide bases that keep them in place and heavy duty Velcro straps that keep the pillow configurations in place. Hope this helps.
