The case is beautiful, however, the construction of the interior was not great and actually required repair (side panel of drawer was not glued in, just laying in the bottom of the drawer, back panel of the drawer was bowed and needed to be glued together and held with vice grips while it dried because the wood was so bowed) before I could gift it. In addition, the top drawer does not properly fit in the slot and the right side catches when trying to open.Had it not been a gift for Christmas I would have returned it, but I was out of time.

Exactly what I wanted and reasonably priced! I neededa shadow box to make and end of the year gift for a retiring art teacher it worked out great. The frame is sturdy and well made.

I like it overall. Only issue I had was it didn’t come with the pins I needed. I ended up buying pins somewhere else.

It's a very sturdy shadow box. The pins didn't push in that great, and there definitely wasn't enough of them provided.

I was actually quite pleased with this frame, so much so that I plowed ahead with mounting my artwork on the foam-backed “linen” (more like linen-esque). It’s decently constructed and quite attractive for what it is. Almost immediately after hanging the piece, bubbles started to appear where the cloth appeared to become unstuck from the foam. I was going to remedy the issue by using spray adhesive (which, of course, I shouldn’t have had to do), but when I went to remove the art, the mounting glue I had used completely melted and fused the foam and the linen, making it impossible to dismantle without destroying that backing. My only option now is to buy more foamcore and fabric to try to salvage the effort. (Fortunately the art piece is so far unscathed.) Bottom line: just assume the linen-esque fabric is going to separate and use your own adhesive before putting the frame to work. Or buy a different one.
