Can you sublimation print/press on these?

not sure what sublimation print is but i ironed on patterns and painted them with liquid embroidery paint they came out really nice

Would anyone recommend these for embroidery projects with a hot iron transfer pattern?

Yes!! We did that and it worked great!!

I'll be washing these on warm or hot - has anyone tried this? Do they deteriorate rapidly?

Hi, these pillow cases are great. I have washed mine several times being that I change my bed every other week and I have so many pillows so again, these get washed regularly. I put them in with my whites in cold water, dry them on gentle and they are like brand new. I highly recommend. Hope this helps.
