Flavorful on the spoon. But, doesn't interfere with the taste in savory dishes like potstickers or stew. I like it better than sorghum and easier to find at a reasonable price. Like to use natural ways to increase my potassium and this works for me.

This date syrup is excellent. It tastes just as it should. It is somewhat similar to Mollases in flavor, with a touch of eathy bitterness. Just delightful. I add it to my cafe latte in the morning. Apparently, date syrup does not spike one’s insulin like other natural sweeteners. I like the container it comes in as it pours nicely into my cup. I have been fortunate to have intact date syrup with only minimal protective packaging upon arrival. The packer could include more insulation as I have heard other reviews complain about leaking syrup of damaged containers. I feel this size and brand was an excellent value for my money.

Delicious slow release energy syrup perfect for smoothies and porridge. I combine the date syrup with concentrated powdered vitamins and minerals from Amazon retailers as well as powdered fruit and vegetables from Amazon; with oats or maize and pure butter and hot water. I almost instantly feel nourished. The initial outlay for this Date syrup was very reasonable for such a huge quantity and despite utilising the Delicious syrup with almost every meal as described above.. I've loads still left I my store cupboard. An excellent means of gaining nutrition.
