I purchased this therapy lamp specifically because it has 15000 lux, which exceeds the recommended 10,000 lux for raising your cortisone levels in the morning. It is important to note that you have to be very close to the light to have it effective, and this high luxe value simply means that you can be slightly further away, not that it will be more effective. It is also important to note that cortisone levels naturally peak way early in the morning, like 6 or 7:00 a.m. . It naturally peaks after a solid REM sleep pattern. I started getting interested in supplementing with light because my night job, while allowing me to sleep, also has me up 5 to 10 times at night to caretake in a home situation, so my REM sleep. pattern is suboptimal. Without the supplements, this therapy would not be nearly as effective. Look it up, research for yourself, and then try it. Don't take my word for it. This light is extremely easy to use, and is a perfect size for my use. It has no remote control, or timer to start the operation, but that is just fine by me. It is lightweight, the size is perfect, and it feels very durable. The light is bright, with various options for color and brightness, but I prefer highest setting with the bluest light for the therapeutic use I require it. Another reviewer had mentioned that when it is off, is still shines a slight blue light. I have seen that this is the case, which is suboptimal for sleep. I simply have it turned to the opposite directions so it doesn't affect my sleep patterns, and have not found it to be an issue. Overall, this was a great purchase, and I am very happy with it. My energy levels has gone up and I will continue to use this product.

Nice therapy light for those cloudy days. This lamp has multiple shades and intensity settings, it's easy to use, appears to be of good quality and shipping was fast.

The size is nice for desktop and the light seems to be affective at pushing away the winter blues. Easy to operate also. I liked it enough that I purchased another one for my daughter.

Requires 110 constant not battery power. But bright light works well.

Works great! I used it at work so there was less gloom from the hallway I face that had no light, it is a game changer. It has low light and other options till you get to blue light. There are brightness settings and timer options. Would recommend.

Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis ist gut! Im Prinzip wie in der Beschreibung. Stromzufuhr ist für meine Bedürfnisse etwas ungünstig angebracht, da cich der „Ständer“ (Aufstellfunktion) und das Kabel im weg sein können. (habe das Licht in einer Halterung über meinem Arbeitsplatz angebracht) Eine Möglichkeit zur Wandinstallation wäre hilfreich gewesen. Das Licht ist hell und entspricht voll meinen Erwartungen und Bedürfnissen.
