Vitanica V-Probiotics, 30 Suppository Capsules

These are working great for me! I appreciate the bioidentical strains. As suggested by another reviewer, lactic acid suppository helps the vaginal environment for the probiotic suppository. I’m using a brand that contains hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, vitamin A and E. You need moisture! Do the entire 30 days and possibly another 30. Do not miss a day if you have long standing recurrent issues. Buy a box of one time use disposable applicators as well for deeper insertion.

These are the best product out there, it’s made with NO fillers. It is not harsh like other vag probiotics. This doesn’t cause irritation or yeast infection and I’m prone to those. Just run it under water for a few seconds before you insert it.

This is working better for me than Boric Acid ever did. Boric acid suppositories shouldn’t be used regularly because they’re mildly caustic to living tissue. They work by acidifying the vagina and killing microbes, but in the process they can irritate the vaginal lining, strip protective mucus, suppress beneficial Lactobacillus along with harmful organisms, and over time contribute to dryness, inflammation, microtears, and rebound infections, creating a cycle of temporary relief followed by recurring symptoms. I had revolving UTI/yeast infection/BV for 5 months, doc put me on estrogen cream but that can take a few months to build back the tissues, so the issues never went away, and in the meantime they nuked my microbiome. I found a 2024 publication by Varsha Gupta showing that probiotics similar to this formulation showed significant reduction in UTIs over placebo for the following year. I took these for 8 days, and within days I started feeling 'normal' for the first time in months. 3 weeks later I'm taking 'risks' and starting to feel hope that I can lead a normal life again! I honestly feel like I owe the credit to these, but I am also on daily Cranberry and D-Mannose per my doc.

Believe the hype! I was skeptical after having issues with BV for some time and trying everything under the sun for remedy. That is until I realized that the only way to fix the problem was to add in lactobacillus (good bacteria) back to the mix. This product contains all of the strains that a well balanced vagina needs to function properly. After peering through the reviews I was informed that the product is not wet/does not dissolve well in a vagina with an imbalance. I am so grateful for doing that research and the people who recommended lactic acid gel. This is the combo that not only worked but worked on day one. To be sure the results were not a fluke I tried the combo on the last day of my period. The rumors are true a panty liner/pad will be needed in order to catch the residuals. 3 days later no additional application from the first day I have relieved myself of the dreaded BV symptoms that I believe all women are seeking to eliminate: the smell. The fact is the smell went away day one of the application but as we all know with recurring BV it will find its way back. If not that same day, the next one. Embarrassingly enough each time I went to the bathroom I expected to be disappointed. That disappointment was replaced with so much relief. I am now on day 4 and still no smell. Key Points: This product will replenish the good bacteria that has been overrun by bad bacteria causing the BV Insert Lactic Acid Vaginal Gel before suppository to ensure that the product will dissolve and not cause as much/any cramping while also feeding the probiotic (lactobacillus) to help it multiply Wear a pad to catch any residuals and become pleasantly surprised of your results!

Great brand, I’ve used 2-3 products from this brand, that I’ve been happy with. Unfortunately, this product (probiotic vaginal suppositories) did not work out well for me, at all. I inserted one suppository (vaginally), before I went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, that area was very irritated and red. It hurt to even pee, it took about 3 days, to return to mostly normal. It did the opposite of the product’s intent. Prior to this, I wasn’t having any negative symptoms. I’m establishing a new probiotic (& pre- & post-) regimen, and I wanted to include this. I was concerned that it might create an imbalance, because of the irritation, but it’s been alright. I’m surprised that I had a reaction like this, anyone can be sensitive to anything, but I rarely have allergic reactions or sensitivities like this one. I still recommend the brand, and this product may work well for other people, but it doesn’t work with my body. It is not returnable, even though I had a bad reaction to it.

The problem - recurring BV. After a course of Klion D, symptoms quickly returned. Chat GPT suggested a course of boric acid vaginal suppositories followed by Vitanica V Probiotics. It suggested nightly for two weeks followed by two weeks of using twice per week. It has worked. Keeping fingers crossed. It needs moisture for the capsule to melt away. This problem can be solved by placing a little water in the palm and dropping the capsule in it for maybe about 30-40 seconds before inserting. Will continue using twice per week till the capsules in the container are finished. Hopefully the recolonization will keep this issue at bay. Compliment treatment with unsweetened yogurt that contains live cultures first thing every morning.

These are great for vaginal support. Great probiotics for vag and I can feel the effects. It does have an odor after it comes out so a shower is needed. I will be using the eucalyptus suppositories to get rid of the oder and counter that in the mornings. They are easy to insert and you wont notice they are in. I think that they a worth the money and I will buy them again.
