This is smaller than I expected but was a fun build and he looks so cute. My BIGGEST complaint is the delivery service from Amazon. I will attach pictures so you can see. The box was so damaged I wasn't sure if all of the pieces would be there. My grandson encouraged me to just build it and find out ;-) I'm 72 so I had a hard time figuring out what color brick the instructions were telling me to use. The tan and yellow pictures, while you think would show up a lot differently, almost look the same. So I did have to back track and change out some pieces where I guessed wrong.

Lego Nutcracker 40640 Ages 8+ I love that Lego kits work for a wide variety of ages! This was easy to assemble and as you can see, it has several extra pieces. Some colors and positioning are difficult to distinguish, but I easily found a video on YouTube which was very helpful.

Is there a wrong time of year for LEGOs? My wife has a small nutcracker collection and my son loves LEGOs, so this was the perfect gift for them to work on together, have fun and decorate for the holidays. We are slowly growing our LEGO Christmas decor and this fit right in. The box arrived a little banged up but its contents were intact and functioned as expected. Overall this LEGO Nutcracker was a great value for the money and is a welcome addition to our ever-growing collection.

Looks cute, price was fair, came quickly. But, I gave as a gift so I can't give a 5 because I didn't open the box.

Unsere Kinder und Enkelkinder haben den Nussknacker direkt am 24.12. gebaut. Bissel doof war nur das die eigentlich golden Steine in der Beschreibung braun abgebildet sind. Das führte kurzfristig zu Verwirrung. Aber kein Grund zum Sternabzug da die Beschreibung ansonsten sehr gut gemacht ist
