Would Buy For Everyone I Know
This cooking pot is so amazing! First off the color is beautiful! It is solid and the perfect size for soups, roasts and sourdoughs! The heat capacity is tried and true to the Lodge brand. It holds heat so well. The inside is better than a cast iron in that it is so much easier to clean because it is enamel! This product is so easy to use and comes with instructions but I did not need to read them. I have already made a roast and it came out perfect. It goes so well from stove top to oven so seamlessly! I am still in the newness but I expect it to season well over time although it is coated in enamel. For my roast I used a little bit of olive oil and there was no stickiness at all! A+ highly recommend!

Great Value
I gnashed my teeth trying to decide whether to go with the Lodge or that (much) more expensive French option. In the end, I am glad I went with the Lodge. The only downside to the Lodge is that it is somewhat heavier than the more expensive option. I don't really see that as an issue for this type of pot. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the item and the 7.5 qt size is ideal for my use.

For once a purchase that exceeds expectation
Stunningly beautiful finish. No imperfections, thick walled, even cooking. Can't believe I almost bought a famous name pot for 3 times the price. I leave it on the stove for its beauty. Cleans effortlessly.

Better than a le creuset
Having used both the Le Creuset and this one, I can confidently say that the lodge is way better in 3 aspects. Food sticks less in lodge compared to le creuset. Lodge is thicker and heavier than le creuset. Lodge is almost 4 times cheaper than the le creuset. I'm saying all this from first hand experience. Don't believe the le creuset hype. May be they were better at some point, but lodge has overtaken them. The enamel coating technology that lodge uses is way superior. Food just sticks a lot less. Cleaning is way easier. It just becomes like new after washing it. Le creuset just takes a couple of days of washing and soaking to clean and never looks like new after one use. Since the lodge is heavier and thicker, it leads to even heating which also leads to food not burning and there by sticking less also. I'm not one to write reviews but I want to share this personal experience in case it helps someone. Don't believe in the French hype. Thats just for the influencers. Real cooks should get a lodge. Instagram cooks can get a le creuset.

Love it
I love making soups and stews and then freezing some for later. This 7.5 quart dutch oven does that job. It's a beautiful blue, Lodge makes quality products but it is HEAVY. I don't mind that, but it will give your arms a workout. I love it.

Quality Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
This Dutch Oven is absolutely beautiful! I read a lot of the Reviews here before deciding to purchase the 7.5 quart Dutch Oven. I recently threw out my large non-stick large stockpot because the coating was peeling. I was looking for a non-toxic replacement that I could use for soups, stews, boiling large amounts of pasta, etc. I havenโt cooked in it yet. I will update this review after I have used it for a few months. I wanted to post a Review now before I cooked in it because I read a lot of reviews which stated people were receiving damaged pots out of the box. Others complained their pot was damaged the first time they used it. My Dutch Oven came tripled boxed. Iโm pretty sure this is to protect it in transit. It comes with rubber protectors between the lid and pot. The Owners Manual states to use these when storing it. The Manual also gives directions for heat levels and seasoning with oil the first time you cook with it. I am a home cook. I knew I needed to read the Manual thoroughly because I have never owned an enameled cast iron pot. I learned things I may not have thought of before cooking in it the first time. So please, take the time to read the directions for cooking, cleaning and storing. I think a lot of the negative reviews wouldnโt be here if purchasers took the time to read the Manual/Directions. This Dutch Oven is a naturally created pot. The enameled finish is made from glass. There are some slight bumps that are just a normal part of a natural finish. You need to treat this pot with care when cleaning and storing. Amazon is offering Returns through the end of January due to Holiday gift giving. This also swayed my decision to give this pot a try. If Iโm dissatisfied after cooking in it, I know Amazon will take the return in the original boxes and refund me! Update 3-28-25 I have used my pot many many times to make various soups, stews, bolognese sauce, cook pasta, bacon, sausage, etcโฆ I love this pot! Cleans up easily. I use a sponge with a scrubby side for anything that may stick. If discoloration takes place on inside bottom, I spray a little Clorox Cleanup with bleach and let sit a few minutes, use my scrubby side of sponge and color us back to original off white.

Damaged but it will still work.
I love my Lodge enameled products. My skillet arrived without a chip. This pot arrived with several chips on the lid. I'm not sending it back. When I wash it, I'll just put oil on the bare areas. It will still do a great job. Looks like the rubber protector pieces were thrown in the box and it was damaged in transit.

Very impressed. Excellent fit and finish.
Very impressive. As a La Creuset user, this is my first Lodge and I have to say I am very impressed at the fit and finish and how well this cooks and it really retains heat well.

Very useful oot for all sorts of recipes
First time ordered, had a chip. Company quickly sent a replacement. New one has been great to cook in. Holds heat well. Some enamel has come off the bottom but that hopefully will be fine, just wear and tear of electrical elements on stove.

Good quality product.
This is a good quality cast iron Dutch oven. Easy to clean, however, it's very heavy so a bit hard to handle. Overall, I'm super pleased and would buy it again.

Fantatstic quality & value for $. A JOY to cook with.
I am inlove with my Lodge 7.5 quart enameled cast iron Dutch oven! I did a lot of research before purchasing to make sure I was buying really great quality long lasting cookware after we spent way too much over the years on 'non-stick' cookware. I have cooked absolutely delicious stews, soups and roasts to perfection in this, even with my dodgy oven that heats inconsitently. The value for money with this item is amazing! Definitely a great investment that I will use again and again. It is a joy to cook with! On the stove top, in the oven, it's just fantastic. I love this brand! Just be warned. This is a very large Dutch oven that is already heavy when empty, so when its full of delicious food it is REALLY heavy so you have to be strong or have a strong person around that can lift it in & out of the oven. Also it's a good idea to line the bottom of the oven with aluminium foil in case you over fill it and it spills over during the cooking process.
