Avantree CK11 - Bluetooth 5.0 Hands-Free Car Speakerphone, Titanium

Have an older car that isn’t equipped with all of the new fancy technology. I ordered this Avantree CK11 and it is working for my needs perfectly. Once I charged it and paired it to my phone, I had immediate connectivity. The volume is nice and loud easy to hear and the calls have great quality to understand. It pairs well with my iPhone and Siri. I can even have Siri read my text that I can hear over the speaker and reply if necessary to my text without touching the phone. When necessary I charge it overnight and it’s ready the next morning. I charged it in January. It’s now April and it is still fully charged.It connects to my phone as soon as I open the door and get into my driver seat. It’s a handy little device for hands-free cell phone while driving. Connecting and disconnecting with calls is one button function. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I wish I had done this sooner.

Live in a handsfree state and needed a hands free device to or faced possible fines for talking on phone in my older car. I tried a cheap device which sort of worked but no one could understand me nor could I understand them. This synched with my phone on the first call and connects with the phone every time I get in the car. People can understand what I am saying with minimal road noise and without it sounding like I am in an echo chamber. They say I don't sound quite like me when I'm on my phone, but I don't care as long as they can understand me. FYI for those new to using the phone, you can turn the sound dial more than one time around to increase volume. First time using it I thought it only turned once and the sound was too soft to hear. I kept turning until and discovered it still got louder beyond 360 degrees. Very easy to adjust volume while driving, turn off or disconnect call. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because cord is a little too short for my car. I can't clamp it to the dash like the directions illustrate because the dash ridge is too big. If I attach it to the sun visor it dangled dangerously around the steering wheel. Finally figured out a way to attach to right side of visor, drape power cord over the back of the rearview mirror support and down the right side to the power socket in the front dash panel. When I want to change the position of the visor, I have to move the device because there is not enough slack in the cord which is a pain. Another very minor complaint is that I can't distinguish what the device says when I turn it on and off. Voice for Power On is indistinguishable for Power Off to my ear. Other than a way to attach it better to all dash panels, I am extremely pleased with device.

Picked one of these up in Dec for a 91 Corvette. I've tried several different types of these, and I feel like this probably the best you'll find for this type of bt speaker. The battery life is outstanding. It's on all the time, and as of today, it's down to 80%. The others I've tried, I was charging them every week or 2. It's plenty loud to hear people clearly while I'm driving. The mic picks up my end clearly as well. I've had no complaints or constant "what did you say?". I can actually hold a conversation. The only thing I can knock it for, is the nose cancelling. It's not the best in my car, but my car is rough riding and not quiet over expansion joints and the like. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with it.

I've tried several devices. Once I figured out its quirks, it works pretty good. I wish it had a visual indication to let you know that it is connected. Based on the ones I've tried so far, I would buy this again but it isn't ideal. If the power source connected directly to the car and turn off when the car is off, it would be really good. My only real issues are: It may not connect when I get in the car, I have to connect it manually. It may not disconnect when I get out of the car (This is the worst since I rely on my phone for my business) and it stays connected in the house. I have to disconnect manually. While it does work, I will keep looking.

The Avantree CK11 is an excellent way to enable hands-free interaction with your cell phone in an older car that doesn't have Bluetooth built-in. Just press one button to pair the phone with the CK11 and you're done. The unit turns off a few minutes after you leave the car. It turns back on and instantly reconnects to the phone when you get back in. I've been using it a couple of weeks and I haven't had to recharge it yet. While driving, just press the button and Google Assistant pops up on the phone waiting for voice commands to call contacts, send texts, open applications like Google Maps or Waze, etc. You never have to take your eyes off the road. Best of all, the unit clips to the car's visor and there is a large volume knob that can crank up the speaker sufficiently to hear calls regardless of the amount of road noise. People say they can hear me clearly when I call, and I can hear them. Bottom line: the Avantree CK11 does everything I need it to do with a minimum of effort.

Tennessee recently passed a law prohibiting cell phone usage while driving, unless some kind of hands-free device is used. I searched the internet and read lots of reviews before settling on the Avantree product. The main complaint I saw in my research was not being able to hear over road noise and this concerned me for two reasons: I already wear hearing aids and I drive a pickup which is somewhat noisier than a passenger car. I needn’t have been concerned. The device paired with my phone right away, and I love that it shuts off automatically when I exit the truck. And I found the volume to be plenty loud. I could hear my caller and understand what they were saying with no problem. Also, my callers could hear and understand me perfectly which was another complaint I saw in my research. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone needing a hands-free Bluetooth device. Great customer support too. They contacted me on the day of delivery to make sure the product arrived undamaged and that I was satisfied. Great job, great product. FOLLOW UP COMMENT: After a couple of months, I started to have a problem with my hands-free unit. I could still hear perfectly in my vehicle, but the caller on the other end said my voice was garbled and hard to understand. I reported the problem to Avantree;they had me try a couple of things to try and fix the problem. When that didn’t work, they immediately sent me a new unit which works perfectly. Good job Avantree. Great customer service.

Update 3 weeks in: went from 5 star to 1 star. The button which answers and ends calls quickly turns on Voice Control on the iPhone. The handsfree picks up background noise from the radio and either dials someone- anyone- saved in my phone or starts talking to me in Japanese even if I say or yell CANCEL, it still calls someone. Since I CANNOT shut off Voice Control on an iPhone (check Apple support) , this handsfree is useless with an iPhone. If the answer / end button was separate from Voice Control, this unit would be a five star. The way it is currently configured, it is junk. Original review: I replaced a different brand handsfree, the Avantree has good range and seems to sense motion better, which makes it accurate when it turns off and on. Since I work out of my truck, if it is too sensitive, it will turn on and I can’t use my phone’s speaker when I’m around but not in the cab. This Avantree is much better about knowing when I’m driving and not driving. Also it doesn’t shut off when I’m at a 3 minute red light. Don’t know how Avantree did it but I like it! The speaker distorts when turned up, it could be better quality, but medium levels are very clear. The volume knob is perfect- easy to see to grab and adjust while driving. Battery life is excellent. All in all, this is an A- Almost perfect.

The blue is the old device, which I've had for a little over 5 years now. The black one is the new device. These are awesome, especially since I have a very base car that has little to no creature comforts. The radio has a mic, but it just picks up the road noise. You can see they're identical, apart from 1 great thing....They changed them to USB C! I was willing to deal with the micro USB since the product has been amazing for so long. The only reason I'm replacing it it because the battery swole up and doesn't hold charge anymore. But after 5 years. The batch number shows how long I've had it. 21D1 (old), 25D1 (new). I'm assuming the 21 is for the year 2021, and the 25 is left over from last years batch. You can't go wrong with it.

La cancelación de ruido va de lujo, el interlocutor te oye mejor que directamente desde el móvil y muchísimo mejor que con los nuevos modelos que traen de serie muchos coches nuevos que dicen traer cancelación de audio y no se yo. No hay que chillar para que te oigan, puedes hablar sin vocear que te van a oir. El micrófono de alcance también va bien. El altavoz de volumen va sobrado, lo puedes regular y aún con la radio a todo volumen lo oyes perfectamente. la pinza sujeta muy bien también y no va bailando. Las únicas pegas que el timbre del móvil cuando llaman no suena por el altavoz del Avantree y por otro lado otra pega que si hay mucho sol de frente y decides echar el parasol para adelante va a hacer tope el altavoz en la luna del coche. Yo estoy muy contento.

This works really well and was straight forward and easy to connect to phone. Bearing in mind that it's not a Bang & Olufsen system, the sound is good during a conversation even when driving on a noisy road surface, and the person you're talking to can hear you clearly. Maybe you could spend more money on something ' fancier' but I honestly can't see why you'd need to.
