Excellent performance out of the bottle!
The subject is my 184,000 mile car with a Getrag 260 transmission which seemed to start showing its age lately. When taking off in first and then into second gear, you could hear a clakety-clack sound when the car was not fully warmed up. The sound was more noticeable after the clutch was replaced and I thought that soon I would either need to get a new transmission or replace the car. At a stop sign, in neutral, while waiting for the light to change, you could hear strange noises coming from the gear box. They would go away when you depressed the clutch pedal. I decided to give this gear oil a chance. The results were immediate: all the gear noises are gone, shifts are glass smooth. Performance with a cold or warm transmission are excellent. No teeth grinding when shifting. It just feels like a brand new car. :) Hats off to the engineers at RedLine lubricants.

Stopped My Second Gear Grinding
I bought this after my old nissan D21 started grinding while shifting into second. Reading through numerous forums, the general consensus was that MT90 is great and can smooth out shifting, but will not fix any grinding issues. Shockproof, on the other hand, can in some situations alleviate a grinding issue. Initially I was concerned about using shockproof because it contained sulfides and my transmission has brass syncros, but one of the engineers at red line explained that shockproof has a copper neutralizer that would prevent it from eating yellow metals. He was adamant that shockproof was not meant for syncro transmissions, but I decided to try it out since my truck was hard to drive as it was. So far after three months it is still going strong. I cannot do high rpm downshifts, but under normal driving conditions it works great.

THEE solution to the E153 Toyota transmission (along w/ MT-90)
Got a SW20 MR2? E153 Trans? Hands down this along with the other Redline gear oil youv'e read about using is THEE 2 fluids to use in your trans. I have used synchromesh type fluids (GM and Pennzoil), regular GL-4 type fluids. All using the same brands at each change ( never mixing). Helping the grinding noticeably ... but only if you pay really close attention, youll notice the change. But when using this.. my final try BTW, due to all the wasted money and time using other fluids ( even a fluid change with just MT-90) didnt meet my expectations. Yes i do know I have worn synchros, but until I can down my car, this is the temporary fix for it, and when i do r/r my synchros, you can believe this is what I'll use. I drained and filled it with MT-90 and 1 to 1-1/2 quarts of Shockproof. Cold. Hot. Don't matter. (FYI I reside in a tropical area) Hands down this combo is the best I have tried, Doubt any will be as good as this.

Edge ST shudder fix
I have a 2019 Edge ST with 32k miles. Ever since I bought it, it's had a shudder on tight turns that seemed to be coming from the rear diff. I got some of this and drained and filled with it and my shudder noise is gone. The blue color is nice too. Quality product that I would highly recommend.

I don't leave reviews at all but after using this product, I knew I had to leave a review. Got recommended by my tutor and read reviews about this product before purchasing, but was extremely surprised to confirm that it's legit. I drive a Mazda 3 (2015, BM). My Syncro's are quite worn and was having trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd and recently getting trouble shifting to 3rd, my 2nd gear cluster bearing was also noisy whilst cruising in 2nd, this is with replacing the transmission oil with Mazda's OEM transmission oil. After replacing the oil with this, it's truly a night and day difference. Feels like a new car, shifting is silky smooth and the cluster bearing is not noisy anymore! It does not completely solve the worn Syncro's but it's 200% better than what it was before. Highly recommend and would be buy again.

I used one bottle of this mixed with 3 bottles of redline 75W90 gear oil in my subaru 6-speed for my transmission. It works amazing, the gears shift like butter now due to the lightweight shockproof oil acting more like a liquid grease. I have seen people with a tranny that grind into gear use this gear oil and it will stop it from grinding completely. You have to change it more often if you run it straight but I mix it to give it a longer lifespan.
