We ordered this balance board for children, but now we are having fun with the whole family. this item is of very good quality. Light and reliable. it can support the weight of an adult. small metal balls are held on their own with magnets built into the board. Helps prepare balance for learning to surf and different activities. I am very satisfied with the purchase and will recommend this product to my friends! Great for a gift for any age.

From the moment my 12 year old grandson opened the box, he loved this board! He left it out in the family room and is on it several times a day. It is difficult but he is intrigued. He is not known to stay with some things that are difficult, but he loves this. His parents brought him to visit me, and they could not stay off of the board, either. The whole family really loved this board! It is also very good quality. the wood is smooth and beautiful. There are no splinters and it is well crafted. I actually will be buying this gift for several other family members who are between the ages of 11 and 17. They will ALL love this as a gift! I should say, I bought this originally because I am a psychologist with a background in child development! I like toys and activities that focus on brain learning, and mazes are usually excellent. I like that this toy can help kids focus on balance and orienting their bodies in space. This skill of becoming better at managing one's body is useful in sports as well as in other tasks such as general academics and spatial learning. For children with visual and motor challenges it can be very helpful. But the smile and enjoyment my grandson shows with this maze is worth the price! This toy has made me very popular as far as my grandson is concerned!

The Bodo balance board is well made and fun to use!

Right away, you feel it is engaging different muscles. While it is not for bulking muscles, balance is essential in everyday life. Several reviews mention kids, but this is even more helpful to adults who may have lost some needed balance over time. First, you can start holding on to a sturdy chair. Progress comes fairly quickly. Product doesn't disappoint. It would be a welcome gift to close family member or friend.

The design, quality, packing & shipping were excellent. There are cheaper options but you get what you pay for. The size, shape, anti slip surface and base bottom (allowing motion in multiple planes not just side to side or front to back like some of the others). There are 2 convenient magnets on the board to secure the balls that it comes with. Good for kids and adults involves focus and concentration while balancing.

I am looking forward to giving this to my grandson for the holiday, to me it seems like it will be a great and well-designed gift but I have to wait until December 25th to find out:-)! Christmas update.. Grandson and his whole family loves the balance board.. even Mom said it’s a great ab workout!
