What a wonderful smudging set for a first timer. I am totally new to smudging and this is the perfect set. It’s complete with everything you need. When the box first arrived at my door it looked smaller than I was expecting but all the items were packed inside the shell. The abalone shell measures 5.5” x 4” and is really beautiful. The kit came with one sage bundle, 2 palo santo sticks, a feather for wafting the smoke, a keychain and a booklet that has the blessing to recite. This particular kit doesn’t have a stand for the shell but the shell looks great on its own and has a flat-ish bottom so it doesn’t roll. I really love this set and plan on buying more as a housewarming gift. I chose this set over others on amazon because of this company’s mission statement in the description. They are a small family business that sustainably sources natural and organic materials. The smudge kit isn’t mass produced in a warehouse somewhere. It’s handled with care and respect from the very start. The company really seems to understand and respect the ancient traditions of smudging. After all, this kit is going to be used to spiritually bless my home with positive energy so where it comes from is definitely a factor. The price is exceptional for the quality and amount of things that come in this set. 5 stars!

I was looking for something to do a blessing on my new apartment.. I had just been displaced due to a rather horrific house fire, I was quite lucky to get in here so quickly and that the price available, overall I was very grateful and felt blessed. I wanted to bring that feeling into my new apartment. The entire house/neighborhood has kind of a negative vibe and I wanted to not have that affect my life. Plus I had been going through some health problems related to stress and other stuff. So yeah that’s my backstory. When I received this in the mail I was impressed by the quality. When I received this in the mail I was impressed by the quality I immediately did a simple house blessing/smudging using the Palo Santo, smudged myself, my parents, etc. then I filed it up with a white sage smudging and another prayer. I use it every few days. I must say I prefer the smell of the Palo Santo stick over the white sage, but I like what each one of them brings to the table so I use both of them. Wonderful product, came fast and packaged nicely, it would make a nice gift.

I love this smudge set so much! It’s one of the few things that help to keep me calm and grounded. The Palo Santo is amazing, it has a nice sweet woodsy scent to it and leaves me feeling peaceful. The Sage is very lovely. I love the smell of it when it burns and leaves the house smelling nicely. I feel like I breathe better with it. Last but not least, I always wanted an abalone shell in my collection and this one is just so beautiful! It’s a nice size too. At first I thought, maybe I should just keep the shell as a decoration alone and buy something to burn my incense on but it does what it’s supposed to do, which is catch the ashes and looks neat. Very satisfied with this product.

Perfect for smudging, has the shell to collect ashes and embers, the feather to fan the smoke and a decent size smudging stick.

Beautiful shell. This is a great bundle. There was a small error with my shipment and it was missing the sage bundle. I contacted the company via email and the responded quickly. They not only sent the sage I was missing but sent a couple more for the inconvenience. Most of the measurements were on point. One of the descriptions in the listing said the feather would be bigger than it actually was. This was not a big deal for me but you should be aware there are 2 different measurement listings posted. I would definitely buy again from this company. I just wish I actually purchased a bigger shell. This one is beautiful but I think a larger one would be nicer and more useful for me. The sage bundles are bound well, smell great, and burn perfectly. Overall great buy.

I love this product. As a first time user of smudging I found it very easy with instructions on how to use and even what to say as an example for blessing my home. It is now filled with positive vibrations of LOVE, PEACE and HARMONY. I am very happy and thankful for this purchase it has changed my life, no more feeling the depressing or spirits of heaviness. I will be ordering more sage bundles from JL company they are a great family owned and operated business. The extra measure of ensuring if I had need of any help to contact them immediately that was wonderful customer service. I especially loved the ABALONE shell it's so beautiful and unique. The shell that came with the package looks like a random seashell from a random beach. Definitely not abalone. The feather was like from a small bird and was not sturdy. Definitely not the same as the photo. Would not recommend buying this.
