I needed to add security camera at a specific location in my house, I had an existing security camera at that spot but need to add second one to achieve good coverage. Unfortunately I don't have any unused/spare Cat5 cable going to that location, but using this network+POE splitter I was able to connect two POE security cameras to a single cable. The splitter acts as a network switch, also it provides POE power to 2 downstream devices using upstream POE source. Since upstream POE source can be POE+ (802.3at), power budget is 30 watt, providing 12-13 watt per downstream POE device - more than enough for most security cameras. The splitter is compact, I was able to hide it inside the junction box, making it clean installation.

El título lo dice todo. Lo he usado para alimentar dos aparatos con ethernet y me ha resuelto el problema de forma estable. No tengo medios para cuantificar por lo que sólo doy mi opinión subjetiva.

I connected my Unifi Mesh AP and POE Camera it works great. Speeds on both wifi. Easy to install
