Take it to a repair shop. With respect, you do not have the technical competence to repair your machine. Please do not buy this item from us as we dont want to have to mess about with "returns" from people who diagnosed their machine incorrectly. Any decent vacuum cleaner repair shop will have the technical smarts to diagnose the machine correctly.

I believe that the motor fits the DC41 roller head. You will probably need to use the black platic end piece and/or the black rubber part from your existing motor.
