Great addition for pain relief
Awesome pad to use on many parts of your body as a massager. You can place it on a chair or bed to lay down on it but also place it on different parts of your body and it’ll provide a nice massage and heat. Great addition to your home for some pain relief and comfort.

Excellent and versatile massager!
I bought this to help with deep tissue massage, mostly on my back and shoulders but also potentially for my feet (though I also have a foot massager on order to see if that helps more specifically). It's very comfortable and I love the shiatsu balls!! You can change the rotational pattern of the shiatsu balls depending on what is more comfortable for you, as well as turn off or on heat, vibration, and the intensity of the massage itself. I used this for 30 minutes and already my lower back feels so much better!! I'm currently writing this while I try it for my feet, and the shiatsu balls are doing a wonderful job on my plantar fasciitis (I usually use a lacrosse ball and manually roll it under my foot, so this is really nice to have an alternative that uses less of my energy). I saw another review mention that they used this massager for lots of different parts of their body which is what gave me the idea that it could double as a foot massager for me! I love that this can be a multitasker, as I don't have a lot of space and don't want to have to store a bunch of different tools if one tool does the job for multiple jobs! I also love that there is a removable flap so that I can easily wash and clean the part of the massager that touches your body! That's the problems I have with a different massager is that it isn't washable and after a while skin oils are just going to get into the fabric which makes it discolored and kind of gross. I also like the side pocket to hold the remote for changing your settings. My favorite setting is definitely red of heat, yellow for massage and shiatsu rotation, and red for intensity. The vibration can also be more of a pulse but I like the more constant vibration. I think this is a nice looking massager, and I plan on keeping it on my living room sofa so I can easily massage anytime. This unit does have to be plugged in to work, so it's less portable than battery operated units but it's also not super heavy or unwieldy so I don't mind it having to be plugged in. Most of my home massage tools require a plug anyway 😂 I definitely recommend this if you also have chronic pain and need deep tissue massage! Now my husband doesn't have to be home to help massage my back, and I have more control over my pain management and care! 🥰🙏💕

So far so good
I've had this massage pad for five days and have used it at least once every day. Obviously not enough to judge it's durability but I do appreciate the free two-year warranty that is offered. At this juncture, I am happy with the purchase and feel it was a good buy. While it hasn't "solved" my primary area of pain, I didn't expect it to with 6 or 7 uses and my chronic issues. However my body does feel "looser" overall immediately after usage. I am about 5'4" and this pad works with my height. It is sometimes a little uncomfortable at the head for me so I often add my own small pillow and using the "full-body" option leaves empty air at the top being "massaged" rather than my actual neck or head so I tend to use the "spot" function and rotate the location. In fact that it is probably my favorite feature - the "spot" function although because it still rotates up slightly, it can take a try or two to get it in just the right spot. I wish there was some sort of height and width adjustment (but I realize this is an entry-level pad.) This is my first purchase of a massage pad and I'm glad I took the advice of other reviews on Amazon to purchase one with gel rollers. I can't imagine using hard plastic for this. I really haven't found the heat function to be worthwhile but probably because I am using the optional back flap. I was hoping that I would also be able to use it as a heat-only pad, but between the rollers stopping at strange places (there is no "off" position they return to) and the cushion blocking most of the heat, it doesn't appear I will be able to use it for that. I also find the bottom "vibration" cushion useless so far. I would prefer to be able to buy it without the bottom cushion. Lastly, it would certainly benefit from a longer cord. It just barely makes it to the nearest outlet and creates a tripping hazard.

Very versatile massager you can use all over
This is a great Little massager It looks good and is really well made It has 3 speeds for shiatsu and reverse direction, 3 vibration patterns and 3 levels of heat. Most importantly, all can be used independently or in any combination, which I love as I've had massagers that wouldn't give you heat unless you have the massage on at the same time and sometimes you just want heat, or you might want just vibration if your muscles are too sore for shiatsu. You are in complete control with this one. It also has a pad that flips over it to reduce the pressure when you are too sore and want a gentle massage, which I love because sometimes shiatsu massagers are just too painful, this is a really simple, low tech fix for that and it really works. Very versatile because it's small, light weight and very easy to handle to move it around to whatever part of the body you want to use it on. I love it on my legs as none of my other massagers are for leg muscles , I've even used it on my feet and it feels great. The only thing this massager doesn't do well for me is my neck, but i have spent years looking for a massager that is good for my neck and tops of my shoulders, none of them seem to be good for that area, even the chairs that cost thousands of dollars so I'd be surprised if this did, (I have finally found one that does, you can check out my other reviews if that is what you are looking for ) but if you want a small, versatile massager that you can easily use all over I highly recommend this one. Full disclosure, I was asked to review this massager for a refund and I agreed only because I have bought lots of massagers and am always looking for a better one, if this didn't work well I would not want to keep it ( and add it to the pile of less than helpful massagers I already have) let alone give it an undeserved review, I am genuinely happy I have discovered this one, it will get lots of use.

Certainly works for me
Due to spinal damage, I deal with chronic pain in my back. I wanted something to use to ease the pain between chiropractic sessions when I bought this. I have got to say, it does a good job. There are some pros and cons though Pros: the power stays consistent even when I have to lean back heavier into it on bad back days. It really kneads my back and shoulder muscles unlike those machines that just vibrate. The control is easy to operate and being able to choose how and where it massages is great. It is very light weight and compact enough I would take it anywhere I may be sitting for extended periods. It has a timer so if you happened to forget to turn it off, no problem. It has a "breakaway" connection so if you happen to turn or move the chair too far it won't yank it out of the socket causing possible damage or bring you to a sudden stop. Cons: it is rigid so using it in a chair with a contoured back isn't so great. I had to use a strap I had to secure the lower portion so it would stop pushing me towards the edge of the seat. For it to be against the chair back, the bottom kicks out leaving less surface to actually place your rump. That comfy sweet spot we make from sitting gets infringed upon. If you are tall, I'm 6ft/182cm, it stops just before the top of my shoulder blades before my lower neck and just high of my hips. The timer can be a con as having to keep restarting it can become annoying. Also, wherever it stops when time is up is where it stays which can be uncomfortable and annoying in itself so you may end up having to turn it on again anyway. All things considered, I like it. It does a good massage and would probably work best with chairs that have a relatively straight back. I look forward to seeing if its longevity confirms it being a worthwhile investment. Update: it's power is beginning to wane. Its movement up and down is taking longer to complete a cycle.

Perfect Birthday Gift – Relief and Comfort in One!
I got this for my mom as a birthday gift because she has been dealing with neck pain, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever given her. From the moment she tried it, she was amazed by how effective the deep tissue kneading was at relieving the tension and the added heat function made it even more soothing and comforting. She uses it not only for her back, but also for her neck and legs, and every time she finishes a session she says she feels so much lighter and more relaxed. It has a good power level and speed setting, too, so I'm able to use it when she isn't. It’s easy to use, versatile, and the design makes it convenient for her to enjoy a massage anytime she needs relief. Seeing her so happy and finally finding something that truly helps with her pain makes me feel so glad I chose this, she absolutely loves it, and I couldn’t recommend it more as a thoughtful and practical gift for loved ones.

Ok, but built for those with short torsos
Update: 1. The padding does come off, the velcro flap is in a weird place. My fault for feeling around while in use, not checking. 2. I'm actually less happy with this. It doesn't fit on an office chair either. I even tried propping it up in bed. It just doesn't stay up or massage most of my upper and lower back. If you're very short torsoed and/or only have mid-back issues, maybe give it a try. I had originally planned on keeping it since it costs less than one hour of a pro massage (which I can't actually get since everyone abandoned Covid safety procedures), but after continually failing to make this work, I changed my mind. 3. Rating changed downward in in all categories. It’s best for shorter people - definitely not more than 5’5” total (or with an equivalent-length torso). My torso is almost exactly average and none of the massage reaches all the way up or down my back - and it’s not even close. It’s a very deep pressure, but not a wide massage area. The cushion makes it feel nice - again, where it reaches. But it’s not detachable and neither is the head cushion, which is a big negative. I also can’t figure out where the “gel” comes in. It does give me some relief in the limited areas it reaches, and I can use it in my living room. The motor doesn’t whine, it more hums, which is very nice. I tried - and almost immediately turned off - the seat vibration. I didn’t think I would like it, so I didn’t penalize the rating for that. But it’s overall just ok. For the price, I really expected more.

Built to last
I recently finished PT for 2 herniated cervical discs and my Dr recommended a neck massager to alleviate some of the tension in my neck. I went with this brand because I bought my wife a massager from them before and it’s held up through years of use. I wasn’t sure what type I would like, so I bought this “seat” style massager and a cordless neck massager. I thought I would keep one and return the one I liked least. But they’re both great! First, this feels very well-built! Also all of the functions have 3 levels so it can be used by anyone. Really strong kneading motion, intense vibration, and radiant heat make this the perfect massager for anyone with neck or back problems. Highly recommended!

GL Masseur
Siège masseur très efficace. La chaleur est bien positionné, les possibilités d'ajustement du massage sont très bien pensées. J'utilise chaque jour depuis l'achat et je suis très content du résultat donné par le masseur de dos

Completely false advertising
Instead of shiatsu massager as depicted and described, a low quality vibrating sound thin heating pad was sent.
