Shoulder strap anchor tear
After considerable research decided to purchase the SEG45 from Matador with their slogan being “High performance travel equipment” surely it would hold up well for a flight to Barcelona and then a 7 day cruise.Well, I’m sad to say that the shoulder strap anchor in the duffle carry position started to tear as I was walking through the airport at the start of the trip. Had about 20lbs of weight in the bag, which I believe shouldn’t be an issue for a rugged travel bag.I do love the style and versatility of the bag, but unfortunately it’s nowhere as rugged as they claim.It does seem like efforts were made to reinforce the high stress areas, but the execution fell short on this specific one.
