This book will be very helpful to me. I needed to be taught on taking care of Bennie, my first betta fish.

The book is very informative, I know what I want and now I know how to adjust my thoughts to get what is necessary for the fish I would like to have.

This book provides a quick read and reference on all the basics of caring for a Betta fish!

I was somewhat disappointed in this book. I had been looking for a "betta owner's guide" book that I could use for reference. At it's most basic level, whoever designed the layout, font, and type color did a poor job of it. The pages are colored, and the font is a moderate teal blue - tends to be difficult to read unless your light source is bright. I can see where kids would perhaps like this - the last 24 or 32 "pages" of the book are simple checklists to be performed on a regular basis, just fill in the date, items done, and the next week, move on to the next blank page. I don't really need reminders to feed our new betta. The pictures and descriptions of each variety of bettas available are GREAT, and helped me determine exactly WHAT the full name is for the variety we had purchased. For the price, and for a selective audience, this would be a good starter's guide. But if you are an adult, looking for the deeper dive than just the surface information (sorry, couldn't resist), this is not your best choice.

The book has some great pictures of different types and colors of Bettas. A good value for the price.

This book is not for beginners. It is opinionated to the fact, do it the author's way or the highway. It is for a more advanced fish owner, who doesn't mind being told his way sucks. I did not like this book. If I could have read it before I bought it, I wouldn't have bought it. The word " Necessary" is used too often. It is the author's opinion; it has nothing to do with the truth. I have own Betta fish my entire life, they are one of the easiest fish to take care of. This is why they are good for children. There are much better books on the Betta, out there. Don't waste your money on this one.

Good info for beginners, but so poorly written it was painful to read. If they're looking for an editor, I'm available.

Great book I have read it 12 times and I will keep on doing till I remember it all without opening it again until I need to reference it 😀

More of a leaflet and log. Deceptively showing lots of illustrations on a nice cover. Very disappointing I don’t think I’ll go to it for reference. Some reading.
