Pain-free
If you have gone through several different mouses, and mouse pad to alleviate your wrist pain this is for you. I got a sensitive wrist and sucks to not have any support. I did put tape on the bottom to make sure the rubber would glide instead of sticking. This thing isn't squishy and is mostly firm but still soft(still really comfortable). I got a bony wrist which this helps support, I hated the other low profile wrist "support". This will allow you to move freely while in your gaming mat while still supporting your wrist.

Worth every penny
I was a little skeptical of this product, and I'm not really sure why. I was used to the joined wrist rest with the mouse pad- you know, the puffy rounded ones. That's what I was looking for, but with a hard-topped mouse pad instead. Well, good luck if that's what you're looking for, because unless you want to pay through the nose, they don't exist. On a whim, I bought a hard mouse pad only and then started my search for a wrist wrest. The odd shape of this one made me hesitate, but the FLOOD of positive reviews (and the great price!) had me taking a chance on it. There was a bit of an adjustment period where I learned how to most comfortable situate it and move my wrist- perhaps about a week at most - but now there is no hesitation at all and I barely even register it, it's so comfortable. The design makes total sense when you actually use it, and I love that it's lightweight so it can be easily moved when needed, but also has enough grip on the bottom that it doesn't just slide around while you're using it. The actual resting part of it is nice a cushy without being TOO soft; it supports really well and I'm super glad that I took a chance on it. I've had it several months and if anything every happens to it (looking at you, cat who likes to chew on everything in my house) I will 1000000% be buying another. Just a note: I am a writer and a gamer, so I am at my computer A LOT and it has received a TON of use in this time.

I like it, a lot
I actually use this to elevate my wrist on my WASD hand. The way I sit in my chair, like a gangsta, causes my wrist to bend and remain I. I. Unatural position while gaming. This little doodad fixed that problem. It's quality made and pretty comfortable. It has rubber feet that disallow it from sliding around on my wood veneer desktop. The cushioning inside is firm yet springy and comfortable, like a gel insert. Overall, I really like it. My only complaint is the lycra material used to cover the wrist cussion. It's pretty smooth, yet the texture can begin to irritate my skin after a few hours. I think they would have been better served using more of a microfiber, microsuede fabric.

Better than I expected
This is really nice, I've tried this wrist rest and a more "squishy" one and this is my favorite of the two. Some things to note before you buy: -The material is not "squishy", it retains its shape. It's more firm but it is comfortable. However the surface material is noticeably more "rough", so if you have sensory issues you might be bothered. It bothered me at first but I stopped noticing after a bit. -There is a plastic base, it's not just a squishy material. There are anti-slip pads on the underside and it works very well at that. -There's a little dip in the middle that I've found naturally guides my wrist to a more comfortable slanted position. -Whether this is good for gaming depends on the game: if you need a lot of mouse movements, like FPS games, it'll get in the way, but this is true for all wrist rests not just this one. However if it's a game that focuses less on accurate mouse movements and more on the keyboard then you'll be fine.

Its comfortable and ergonomic but not great if you move your arm around a lot
I don't do a lot of gaming but when I tried this with the gaming it just didn't work out so well. You seem to need a larger range of motion and this doesn't really give it to you. I recommend it for work or home office use, and highly recommend it but not for gaming.

What a relief!
I've been using this thng for a bout a year and a half. The shape is perfect for my wrist and alleviates my carpal tunnel issues. Before this I was using some novalty mousepad that had two buns that my wrist rested between (yes, it was THAT kind of mousepad! lol) Anyway, this thing has been great ever since. But lately I was finding that it's lack of movement was making my elbow uncomfortable. I started looking at those sliding gamer wrist rests, I bought a cheap one to see if it would help, but they were just too low to give me any kind of support. But the whole sliding thing was great. Then I flipped this one over to see if it would be possible to add some Teflon sliders to it, and then had a revelation! Just peel the rubber feet off! Low and behold, my perfect wrist rest! This thing now has the perfect padding AND slides around with just the right amoutn of resistance. I couldn't be happier!

Pull the rubber off.
Like everyone else said, pull the rubber off and throw it out. I coated the bottom of it and a small area of my pleather desk pad with chemical guys hydroslick, and it sits in the crook of my wrist and glides like butter all day.

Worth every penny
Wrist pain is gone, I use it in conjunction with a vertical mouse. The memory foam is soft but supportive. It stays in place, and doesn’t take up much space.

Goodbye Gamer's Mark
Finally a solution to the 'gamers mark' My mouse hand was getting exceptionally sore due to the friction/pressure, I had tried on of those puck things but that didn't help as there was still pressure on the point that was already sore, thicker mousemat helped a bit but then i saw this and thought 'at this price its worth a try' this does not slide with your movements but it does raise your wrist and hand high enough that there is no pressure/friction from the mousemat. My gamers mark has faded considerably and im no longer getting any pain when using my mouse for normal day to day things so for me this item is fantastic for the price

One at work. one at home. Love them.
It's a great unit. Comfortable, durable, still enjoying it 18 months later. Told all my friends to get one. No idea why it has gone up 100% in price though. Came back to buy one for my wife. When I bought mine they sold for 16.99, but for 32.99, no I won't recommend it to others anymore.

Not an ergonomic design
Manufacturer tried to make their design ergonomic, but they missed the trick. The middle portion where the wrist is supposed to sit is too thin. It gives a feeling of putting the wrist on some hard object. Looks like manufacturer did not test their product prior to mass production. If the manufacturer wants to capture the market they need to modify their design.
