Lincoln Electric K5418-1 Wheel Kit for Portable Welding Table

Very impressed with this portable welding table. Not going to be mistahen for a "fabrication" table but plenty of holes for fab tools to ensure straight & minimal warpage during use. Good sturdy table for welding & able to accommodate use of plasma cutters & oxy acetylene cutting . Adjustable legs help with uneven out in the field. The accessory wheel kit makes this heavy weld table very portable. While it's not "flat" is certainly close if built on good surface. Easy to build and easy to shim & adjust if needed. Only gripe is handle does not seem to "fit" in any offered holes. If your looking for a good portable weld table you can't go wrong with Lincoln Electric Portable Weld Table

Face it, Welders are very demanding. They have to be because they know what works and what doesn’t … and they’ve got NO tolerance for things that don’t. After all, if things don’t work, the tradesperson doesn’t earn a living. So, when I considered this table for my welder son, I immediately approached it with the bar set high. Upon receipt I knew something was special because the delivery guy told me, on my porch, that “This thing is heavy!” I got it indoors where I planned to assemble it (so it would be all ready for Christmas, saving my son the trouble of doing it himself) and began unpacking it. It is impressively well packed - a far cry from many other product vendors. It was so well packed that not a single part was missing or damaged. The instructions were very clear and everything fit together easily and solidly. I proceeded to put it completely together without having to retrace my steps or scratch my head over something that went awry. It was a very efficient and fast assembly. You will need a good amount of space to put it together, and I recommend a large strong table top for the first few steps (to help you get the table top planar). It looks great, is very strong, and works exactly like it should. I weld a (very) little and can easily see that this table is excellent. I am 100% sure that my son will not baby it - it will end up in and out of the back of his truck. It will be rolled across outdoor and indoor work sites. And. Because it is so well made, it will become a part of his mobile welding repertoire. I also bought him a few complimentary parts to use with the table (dogs, clamps, etc.) to be sure he has what he needs. What a great product. Well conceived, well designed, and well constructed. I’m proud to give it to him. This is going to be a fun Christmas!

Its a very nice work table that you can weld on, but not perfect. There's room for improvement on flatness of the 4 panels making up the top individually and assembled. Two of my panels are reasonably flat checking with a straight edge and two have about .035" deflections (one up and one down) across the length of of the panels. Both of the panels that aren't flat are the the panels with the long slots for cutting running lengthwise down the table. When assembled I had to get creative tapping the table top joints to get the pieces flush and it was assembled on flat surface. There wasn't any shipping damage to create the deformation that I can tell and I watched it unloaded from the delivery truck, this is just the way the table parts are made. It is 12 gauge material, but you can get some flex in the the middle of the two halves of the table with some weight on them too. It's very usable as is if you don't need a perfectly flat surface for things you want flat using fixtures without careful consideration to which way things are oriented and or some shimming, or laying another piece of material on top of it that is flat for your work surface. Overall, it's well executed, and probably the best on the market for the price. The Miller ArcStation 30FX folding welding table with a solid one piece 3/16 plate top would be better overall and have a flat surface but it's also more than 2X the price. The Dewalt welding horse option would be another choice if a person wanted to make their own top 1 piece of thicker metal and some reinforcement.

This is a high-quality table that is easy to assemble. The adjustable height folding legs make it quick to set up. I have limited work space, so it is perfect for me to bring out, set up, then return to storage when done.

I’m very pleased with this table. It’s heavy, but just light enough to be portable. The wheel kit helps. Buy it. Very sturdy. Assembly a little fiddly, but you only have to do that once.

Like Lincoln's table, these wheels are very well-made and are designed not to interfere with closing the legs. They are very sturdy and roll smoothly on their fixed shafts. The large size ensures that the table will roll over obstacles easily. Lincoln should have included these wheels as part of its table, not as an optional add-on.

Works well. Sturdy. No issues

I like this table a lot. The quality is apparent. The assembly time is pretty monumental, though. You also need a torque wrench that fits in tight spaces. The top comes in 4 pieces. Because you want a flat outcome, you need a flat surface for assembly. I elected to use my garage floor (poured concrete), which worked out well. Overall product quality, again, is great! My only issue is that large clamps that work on other tables don't seem to work here. There's a lip under the bottom edge that significantly limits the ability of large claps to open up and clamp anything of significant height. I guess I'll have to buy LE's matching clamp kit, to be able to use the fixturing holes to support clamping. Nonetheless, this is a great table, actually fairly heavy, but the legs fold up nicely even when extended! I really need to add the optional wheels, to help maneuver this around the garage, out to the driveway, and over to the wall for storage. I haven't found a better quality table for a lower price-point. If you're considering this, just get it! You won't regret it!
