Good quality as always from Gigabyte
This is for the B250N Phoenix model. As usual Gigabyte products are top quality and this little motherboard is no exception. The box it is packed in is very sturdy and comes with the instruction manual and driver CDs, a SATA cable set, a desktop aerial with magnetic base, motherboard backplate and a couple of product stickers for your case. The B250 version of Intel Kaby-Lake chipset is less powerful than the Z270 and in theory the H270 too, but in use it offers a feature-set that gives most of us what we need and possibly a little more. It's a part of the Gigabyte "Gaming" range and so features the novelty of multi-coloured LED lighting. Granted this doesn't affect performance but is a nice touch. Gaming means better audio than might otherwise be included. There's a decent ethernet chipset for fast networking. The USB 3.1 type C socket is a Gen 2 version rather than Gen 1 in the Z270/H270 variants, via an ASMedia chip. The board features three four-pin cooling-fan sockets, the other models only have two. RAM memory speed is limited to 2400mhz, the Z270 is the only one to go higher, so there's no point investing in anything faster. True, in theory there are a few other more esoteric limitations too, to do with power states and PCI speeds, but in general use I doubt many would notice. If you need to run flat-out all the time then there is always the Z270N Gaming 5 model with more advanced cooling at almost twice this model's price. All in all I think this is a great value board with a touch of glamour about it too. It seems the ITX format is now coming into its own, at the expense of M-ATX models, which are harder to find and from shrinking product ranges. Full-size ATX boards are for enthusiasts and professionals who need the expansion possibilities, but the cases tend to be massive. Mini-ITX is a very attractive format if you can get everything in and when using a board like this you need to plan your build more carefully.

Excellent for the price. Still working well.
Used this for basically a workstation that would also be handling Audio Visual presentations. Used with a good i5, one 4gb stick and a M.2 Samsung EVO. Excellent combo. Working flawlessly with no issues so far. The internal graphics from the i5 and the mobo are handling a DVI, VGA and HDMI output simultaneously, with no fuss... outputting basic video on 1x and images on the other 2x, so little load.

Great mATX mobo for pretty cheap
Great mATX mobo for pretty cheap. BIOS/UEFI is good, installing windows was extremely simple. If you want a 6th/7th gen intel and don't want to OC or spend too much, I'd say get this. Only problem is that it only comes with 1 fan header, even though it says there are two (they were including the cpu fan..). If you have a case with two fans like me then you'll need a fan splitter. The IO panel is also a little annoying to install since its a bit flimsy, once you get it in its fine, however. Edit: one more thing I forgot to mention, one of the mounting holes was not aligned with my cases standoffs by like 1mm. To this day my mobo remains without a screw on the top left. I'm not sure if this is a problem with this or my case (200R) but it's not a big deal.

Fantastic Value for Money Kaby Lake Board
I purchased the "D3H" variant of this board I've used this board as part of my new budget friendly gaming PC. It feels very solid and has everything you could need from an M-ATX build. One nice thing I noticed was how clearly everything was labelled which made life much easier when working in a small case. It worked straight out of the box with my Intel Pentium G4560 (Kaby Lake) with no BIOS updates or anything needed. The other review for this board is not good, I cannot relate to this as I've had no problems at all with mine. It's possible to get "dead on arrival" products from almost any manufacturer. This board and incfact series of boards, also has great reviews elsewhere.

Motherboard
I have been using this motherboard for about a year so far, it has survived many accidents that should have seen it thrown into the trash. The first atrocity I inflicted onto this motherboard was spilling a drink onto it within minutes of opening it, yet it dried out fairly easily and booted up without an incident. Since then this bad boy has not malfunctioned once, it's active for over 16 hours a day due to the work I do and has done so without issue! Although it appears to be extremely durable, the only issue I have with it is the Bios. It's got too much information to throw at you, and finding the basic settings of it can be a hassle, but it's easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. This motherboard is easily a 10/10, if you're looking for a cheap 7th gen chip set motherboard then I would have to tell you to buy this one! Also, the design on the MoBo is just awesome.

Complimenti a gigabyte.
