These tweezers' stated use is for applying artificial eyelashes (not the purpose I intend to use them for); however, since the tips are needle thin and sharp, I would advise extreme caution for use near the eye since accidents can happen no matter how careful you are. I am considering filing the tip down a bit for safety reasons and to make them more suitable for general use. Other than that, these tweezers are very nice and useful for many purposes.

Tweezers are so inconsistent. One pair is fine, the other pair dont touch. I can't grasp the lashes. VERY annoying. I have to keep buying new sets.
