Powerful and really fun RC car
This remote-controlled (RC) car is incredibly fast and provides a lot of fun for those who drive it. However, it's important to note that it is not just a toy, but a powerful RC car. Due to its high speed, you need to be attentive while driving it, as it can easily cause damage to objects or be hazardous if operated by children. There are some technical aspects to keep in mind: the throttle has a slight delay, and the reverse function doesn't always activate immediately after braking. Despite these issues, the overall enjoyment of driving the car remains intact as long as your expectations are managed. For those looking to improve performance, it's possible to upgrade the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) to reduce throttle delay and achieve a more responsive control. However, this modification isn't necessary for everyone and is not something I feels compelled to do at the moment. I've discovered an issue that really needs attention: about 90% of the screws used in this RC car are 1.5 hex head types, which are very prone to stripping. With these cars, only about 20% of the fun comes from driving them; the remaining 80% is derived from tuning and tweaking. Because of this, I would expect better quality screws to be used. Although I don't mind if parts break during use—it's a normal part of the hobby and changing parts or repairing the car adds to the enjoyment—stripping screws is a different matter. It's frustrating and takes away from the fun, making it an issue that needs to be addressed to avoid spoiling the overall experience. Other than this problem, the RC car offers great value. The car includes screwdrivers that are slightly smaller than the screws used in the car. To prevent the stripping of screw heads, it is highly recommended to use high-quality screwdrivers that are appropriately sized for the car's screws. Using the right tools not only protects the integrity of the screws but also ensures smoother and more efficient maintenance of the car. I had an excellent experience with customer service. After informing them about the issue I encountered, they promptly offered to send me replacement parts for those I had difficulty removing due to stripped screws. Additionally, the product itself comes with an ample supply of spare parts, which is highly commendable. Kudos to the customer service team for their prompt and helpful response.

Awesome 1/14 RC Car! Love my HYPER GO H14BM
Update 8/17/24 well, a front shock broke after 3 days of use. It's been an ordeal trying to figure out the correct part and ordering said part. The part on the Amazon HYPER GO storefront for the 1/14 accessories is the wrong part, so sent that back. After much discussion on the right part with support, I ordered another part via Ebay shipping from China. Waiting for it to arrive to see if it's compatible. HYPER GO H14BM - I recently bought a HYPER GO H16BM for my son, and it was so awesome that I also purchased a HYPER GO H14BM. I'm so glad I did! FAST: The HYPER GO H14BM is so freaking fast at 100% throttle. At 75%, it's fast enough that I normally use that mode. DURABLE: It has taken many tumbles and flips; I'm amazed it's still intact. BATTERY LIFE: The standard battery lasts a long time, at least 30 minutes if not more. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: I wish it came with more clips to keep the body on, it only comes with eight. Also, the four holes on the body that connect to the four stubs on the frame, which the clips then connect to, are a very snug fit. This might be by design so as to help keep the body on tight. I may take a file and shave the holes open just a tad to make it easier to put on and take off the body. VALUE: It's definitely worth the money at $199. I would buy it again!

Great RC, Excellent price!
I recently purchased the 3 cell battery version of the H14BM (which is larger than 1/16th scale models) for my son for Christmas. This truck arrived 100% as shown in the description, with everything that was shown in the pictures, and let me tell you...THIS BULLET IS FAST, and it runs great even in grass. If you haven't already, search YouTube videos of the 'Hyper Go' line in action, there are several out there. (I have seen this thing fly across a pond, on top of the water) The option I chose included two 2,000mah 3cell li-po batteries ( in protective hard shell cases). It also came with two chargers, the remote, a handfull of spare body and chassis parts, two body shells, spare shock springs, extra set of mud/snow tires, the wheelie bar (which is essential in high speed mode lol) metal frame plate, cooling fans installed on both the ESC and Motor/heat sink, really nice strong metal axles on all 4 wheels, dual bearings on each wheel, waterproof enclosure that holds the receiver, adjustable coil over shocks, and more. The battery area does have additional room to strap down a larger capacity battery if you have one and want to run your own, or buy one for longer run time. The remote has an extra 3rd channel/button to turn on/off the front led lights, which you could add more to if you wanted to. My son is only 7, he is rough with this, but it takes a beating and rolls on. We have both driven it and it is blazing fast, especially when you unlock the esc from its factory setting (5 quick button pushes on the power button). You can drive it in 70% mode using the switch on the remote if you need to keep it more tame in congested areas, so you have 3 options for speed, 70%, 100%, and the faster more powerful unlocked 100%. We have flipped, rolled, tumbled, smashed, and accidentally launched this thing countless times and it just keeps going. There are two things I would have liked to see with this truck, some spare hardware included (screws if you do need to make a repair, or lose one) as it doesn't come with any for chassis parts. I understand extra parts being included effects the low price point, but I personally would have paid a little more just to have spare screws added to the box, as ordering them separately when one breaks, or gets lost can be time consuming and does add up if you want an extras. Other than that, it would have been great to have either a dial or switch control on the remote, or maybe even built in to the ESC programming to add expo to the steering sensitivity with throttle. The steering is too sensitive at high speeds and an expo/rate control would have been really handy. Hopefully this can be added to future models, even if it is automatically mixed into the programming of the steering. An expo rate curve, or even a flat rate would make this thing PERFECT! Overall I searched high and low for the perfect RC for my son, and I needed something that would handle a child's torture, and this truck does that very well. There are replacement parts available now for this including all the electronic components, and even metal upgrade parts, which look really flashy. When I needed a screw that we broke by plowing into the garage at a high speed, I reached out to customer service before searching and they replied quickly. I was informed that they are in the process of building a new comprehensive site for parts currently, in addition to the various sites like Amazon, Ebay, and Ali Express that already carry parts for this now. Overall, this is an amazing deal for the price, and there really isn't anything comparable out there that is this solid at this price point. My opinion is, if you are looking for a 4WD truck that is capable of handling accidents, bashing, and puddles, you likely won't find a better deal than this model. They did an amazing job with this truck! I honestly don't feel like there is a better "ready to run", out of the box RC truck out there for under $200 like the 'Hyper Go' line and I will buy another one if I need a great gift for someone else.

Just not tough enough for the speed it was given
This car cannot be used without breaking every outing. We have not used it in a while and have kept in in perfect condition (after we had to return the first one and get a replacement because it broke on the first drive). We drove it in the street and it went over a rounded low curb and completely cracked the front steering axel. It has incredible speed but the car is not built to handle bumps and drive of the speed of the car. Going to try and order parts to fix it (again) as it can't go one ride without breaking. If purchased plan to drive it in a bubble or it will probably break. We just want something that is built to use and have fun with. Not reckless fun, just a dependable product.

SUPER Fast!
This is an incredibly fast truck. It has a stout frame and strong components to go with its speed. If you’re only looking for speed, this thing hits 40mph with a smooth stretch. Its wheel base is a little narrow, and throttle response is lacking, however. It easily traction rolls at 1/2 throttle and is very unstable at top speed. Even so, it is durable enough to keep going after the roll. I’ve done some major jumps with little issue in durability. The only broken parts have been tie rods, so far. But landing those jumps is hard. The throttle response is slow when the truck is midair. This is definitely a more advanced and fun truck to drive, but not quite a full basher. With 15-20 minutes of battery, it’s worth the time and money.

This little 1/14 scale brushless RC car is bonkers! Highly recommended!
I'd been watching videos about this RC car for months, waiting and hoping that it would one day be listed for sale on Amazon and I was excited to see that the day has finally come! I ordered this car last week and it arrived on Saturday morning which was just in time for some weekend bashing fun. Quality and Value: For me, one of the best things about purchasing a new RC car is the unboxing and MJX did not disappoint! For starters, the car is well secured in the box and the quality of the car feels SOLID! It's definitely got some weight to it due to the aluminum chassis which gives it more of a premium feel in my opinion. You'll also be pulling bag after bag of spare parts out of the box. I mean, the amount of included spare parts is insane and really raises the value of this RC. Not only does it come with spare parts for just about every wear part on an RC car but it also includes 2 x 3S batteries. The included controller is the same that comes with their other cars but this one has a thumb button that turns on and off the LED's. It's a cool feature but I always seem to forget that it's there. In any case, it's nice that MJX includes LED's in their cars. Driving and Speed: Some may know this and others may not but the manual indicates that there's a setting in the ESC that unlocks the 3S power. To unlock this setting all you have to do is hit the ESC button 5 times with the car powered on (you'll hear 3 beeps) but I wouldn't suggest turning this on if you're a beginner as this will make the car go from fast to INSANE fast. You need to have your reflexes in check with this setting because the car can get away from you very fast. But like I mentioned earlier, I own 2 other MJX RC's but I also own an Arrma Big Rock 3S and with the 3S setting unlocked this car would absolutely keep up with and potentially beat the Arrma in a race. I also expect to break less parts with the MJX when bashing due to the 1/14 scale H14BM having less inertia and weight compared to the 1/10 scale Arrma. And if or when I do end up breaking a part on the MJX, i've got spares galore! So all in all, would I recommend this fast little RC car? Absolutely! This is an awesome brushless RC car that includes countless spare parts will save you money and keep you up and running for quite some time. The value on this purchase is fantastic and i'd say it's a perfect gift for anyone interested in the hobby. Highly recommended!!

Durable only if you keep it on lower power setting
Have bought 2 of these and I own lots of hobby grade - let me give you the pros and cons - Pros - Fast (especially if you press ESC button 5 times and unlock it) Definitely fun and capable - the paddle tires are a blast and the truck will drive over water with them (risky) Comes with built in lights and a generous amount of extra parts, but not the ones you will probably need. Li-ion batteries are safer than lipo and good for people who aren't hobbyists. Looks cool Cons - Notice I didnt put price in the pros list? Its not durable so keeping it running is a good lesson in price vs. cost. Hence why I've bought 2 - one is for parts. Currently have none of them in running order... The hardware is garbage. Hard not to strip screws out, they are made of recycled metal, and also in inconvenient locations that are hard to get to Should come with wheelie bar already installed, you will immediately trash the spoiler and body if you dont have it on. Aftermarket part support is terrible. Too many different versions, no good documentation. Just try buying shocks for it - Servo is weak and sloppy but that is to be expected with any cheaper car Finally, the ESC. I get it, they programmed a delay between forward and reverse to save the gears. But it makes it hard to do stunts off jumps. You probably wont notice the delay unless you do jumps, but it is definitely there and will turn the car into a flying brick. Try doing a front flip - you can't. Best if used as a sand and snow car. Running on pavement / dirt you will be toasting the gears and diffs, jumping and bashing and you will be breaking EVERYTHING. If you can keep it at lower power setting and are happy it could maybe hold up - but who wants to do that?

This thing RIPS! Pleasantly surprised.
I was a little skeptical of this thing given the price point and the specs, but it actually delivers. Comes with two 3s 2000mAh batteries that put out enough power to make the truck wheelie at 20+mph. Lots of power on tap. If you want all the power the 3s packs will give you, turn the truck on and press the button on the ESC five times. You’ll hear 3 beeps and then you know you’re in high power mode. Be ready, it’s fast! Seems durable, I’ve already ran it into some stuff and I’ve definitely cartwheeled it at least 30 times. No issues so far. It comes with a lot of spare parts for the most commonly broken items which is a huge plus. Haven’t had to use any of them yet thankfully. It could benefit from a gyro maybe for high speed runs, because the torque can make it hard to steer. It’s definitely doable, just takes some practice. So far I don’t have any complaints. I wish there was a market for upgrade parts stateside, but I’m sure that’s coming eventually. It’s a ton of fun and highly recommended if you want a fast brushless RC car that isn’t going to drain your bank account. There’s a LOT of them to choose from, but I’d ignore most of them and look to HyperGo first. I did have one question and emailed their support and received a response within an hour. That alone is a big deal to me since so many companies are basically impossible to reach. I’m thoroughly enjoying this little thing and I can’t wait to see what hypergo comes out with next. Hopefully there’s a 1/12 or 1/10 in the works!
