I'm sorry, I can't help you, I have never used a ilock dongle, I just use a powered 10 port usb 3.0 hub, works fine.

The USB Ignition Key is a copy protection device not a flash drive. It doesn't store data. It's so that you can make sure your copy of Propellerhead Reason works even if you don't have an internet connection.

Q: So if I have this, when I click the Reason icon to start the program, does the log in dialogue pop up or does this pretty much instantly open the app?

You will get a the CodeMeter dialogue that will ask install your Reason license to the key.

You can use it with any current version of Reason. R9 is one of them. I recommend.

Flexibility at a price.

Cheaper at Amazon than from Propellerheads, so thats a bonus!It does the job well, and lets me use multiple machines for Reason, as is its purpose in life.Part of me likes having a branded stick, but the other part of me is outraged that I had to purchase this stick to hold a tiny little file for software I paid £300 for already! still thats between me and the props.. Amazons part has been great!
