Does this work on lids with half-chamfered edges that seem to be used by many manufacturers now? The pictures all show lids with parallel edges.

Yes it does work on chamfered edges , but I suggest you use the screws to fix under cupboard don’t rely solely on the sticky pad .

I have trouble Opening smooth metal lids

Found out only turn your jar clockwise. I was turning it the wrong way. Haven’t had any problems with smooth lids.

Could this be used for opening and closing a nutribullet?

It probably can although the nutrition bullet kid is plastic and the teeth on this bottle opener are metal so it may damage it. I will have to ah e a look but the diameter of the nutri bullet may be to big for it. I do have a nutri bullet so I can check for you if you like?

What is the largest sized lid that it will open?

The largest Jar I opened had a diameter of 12.5 cm or 5 inches and I think it would manage another cm or two.
